The heliborne survey is earmarked for December

Aurania Resources Ltd (CVE:ARU) (OTCQB:AUIAF) (FRA:20Q)  told investors it is planning an airborne magnetotelluric (Mobile MT) geophysical survey at its Lost Cities - Cutucu project in Ecuador in early December this year.

In a quarterly update, the explorer updated on recent exploration at the asset, which lies in the foothills of the Andes, saying three drill holes had now been completed on the Tsenken N2 target and two at the Tsenken N3 target.  Assays form three holes are expected shortly.

As reported in early November, drilling at Tsenken N2 copper target in Ecuador had hit mineral alteration zoning typical of an iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG) system.

And last week, the group said the Tsenken N2 and N3 targets form part of a single iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG) target that spans over 20 square kilometres (sq km).

In today's statement, Aurania said it will host a telephone conference call on December 1 this year at 11 am EST to discuss recent developments. CEO Dr Keith Barron and President Dr. Richard Spencer will host a webcast conference call at the same time. For more details see HERE.

Aurania is focused on mineral exploration, with a focus on precious metals and copper in South America.

Shares in Toronto ticked up 3.7% to C$3.85 each.
