Micron Waste Technologies Inc (CSE:MWM) (FRA:7FM2) reported that its wholly-owned Micron Technologies Inc subsidiary, a manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE) in Canada, registered with the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) on June 27, 2020.
Micron Waste Technologies said the US FDA registration is a “significant milestone,” as it enables Micron Technologies to sell its medical devices in the United States. It added that owners and operators of facilities that manufacture or distribute medical devices intended for use in the United States are required to register each device with the US FDA. Micron Technologies has registered as both a manufacturer and distributor of medical devices.
The company noted that Micron Technologies is currently fully sold out of PPE and has initiated a third manufacturing shift to meet increasing demand.
