Predictiv AI Inc (CVE:PAI) (OTC:INOTF) (FRA:71TA) announced Friday that US-based visitor management solutions company Security Identification Systems Corp has signed on to sell the company’s ThermalPass coronavirus (COVID-19) screening devices in the US.
ThermalPass was developed to lessen the spread of COVID-19 in high-traffic locations by using medical-grade sensors to scan people (up to 60 per minute using 1,200 sensors) who pass through it and silently identify anyone with an abnormally high body temperature, a possible indicator of COVID-19.
To further assist with track and trace efforts, SISCO plans to pair ThermalPass with its Fast-Pass visitor management system, which provides additional security with photo and ID verification. The company will act as a channel distributor and market the product to its US customers in healthcare, commercial enterprises and government, the company said.

"Partnering with SISCO and its established Fast-Pass technology is an excellent fit as ThermalPass will be sold into an existing clientele that has already embraced screening tools as a best practice to promote enhanced health, wellness and safety of their staff and customers," said Jason Elmaleh, president of ThermalPass joint venture partner Commersive Solutions, via statement. "We are actively creating opportunities with strategic partners such as SISCO, to provide us access to new market opportunities while continuing to drive activity through our own sales funnel."
Founded in 1994, SISCO’s mission is to provide best-in-class visitor management solutions by confirming credentials and tracking people for public and private entities. Fully-compliant with the various legislation throughout the US, SISCO has a roster of high-profile clients across the country.
"The seamless integration of ThermalPass' technology allows us to immediately offer the new solution to all of our existing clients, including Royal Caribbean International, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Shriners International, Cleveland Clinic, HCA Healthcare, NYPD, Palm Beach Police Department, Miami Police Department, PPG Industries, JW Marriott, and many others," SISCO CEO, Anthony Zagami said.
"Because ThermalPass is a touchless screening device that operates much like a metal detector, taking multiple temperature readings instantaneously, when coupled with Fast-Pass, it immediately provides front-line workers with the necessary data and insight in handling high volumes of people entering facilities,” he added. “This allows practitioners to respond accordingly with their organization's standard operating procedures, and in real time."
Predictiv AI CEO Michael Lende believes SISCO will allow ThermalPass to enter new markets.
"We are pleased to expand our distribution network in the US through this new partnership with SISCO and look forward to entering some previously untapped markets," Lende said. "In particular, the opportunity in maritime hospitality is very apparent and appealing to us. From early on in the pandemic, we were witness to all of the health, wellness, and safety issues that a number of crew and passengers experienced while at sea and trying to return home."
