This goal is achieved by using known (measured) petro-physical information from reservoirs' formations and coupling this data with their production history (production/injection flow and pressures). Spatial statistics including other statistical tools, such as regression analysis, are used to evaluate the reservoir's performance with respect to hydrocarbon production.
