In a statement on Thursday, Enertopia told investors that new test results from its Clayton Valley lithium project indicate the potential to process less material at a higher lithium grade. Enertopia is running in-house tests to establish the most cost-effective way to recover lithium from synthetic brines.

The Kelowna, BC-based company is undergoing testing on the project from three main zones at Clayton Valley to determine the distribution of the size fraction and lithium grade per size fraction in both wet and dry forms.

In the dry fraction, results showed that all three zones had dry fractions of 20 micrometres (um) or larger above 95% material content, indicating that presorting of dry material during the mining phase may not be needed.

The wet portion showed a material difference in grade between the fraction sizes in that most of the material greater than 95% fell into the smaller fraction size of less than 20 um.

"Our ongoing solution testing of the drilled lithium horizons continues to provide great insights and novel ways to strive for a low-cost mining and processing solution to unlock the potential value of the lithium enriched claystone," said CEO Robert McAllister.

In a statement, Enertopia cautioned that It is too early in the company's development to specify an exact timeline or particular production equipment, but it believes its goal is achievable at a much lower capital cost than current processing technology.

The company will focus on the next steps of its solutions to be run through column leach resin tests beginning in early June.

Since March, the Kelowna, British Columbia-based firm has been running in-house tests to establish how to recover lithium in the most cost-effective way from synthetic brines.

''Our ongoing solution testing of the drilled lithium horizons continues to provide great insights and novel ways to strive for a low-cost mining and processing solution to unlock the potential value of the Lithium enriched claystones,'' said CEO Robert McAllister in statement.

The company is running a series of tests, grain sizing and lithium grades per grain sizing, pre-strip reagent testing on impurity levels in the upper oxide and reduced drilled horizons.

Enertopia is still waiting for the assay results on the grain sizing, but early “reagent results thus far have been very encouraging,” the company said.

“These tests have been run at room temperature and normal atmospheric pressure. Early findings have resulted in significant drops in contaminants before running ion resin column leach tests,” the company noted.

For example, boron levels have been dropped to below the detection limit of 5 ppm from starting solution values of 49 ppm in the upper oxide horizon, 27 ppm in the reduced horizon, and calcium values have been dropped to a low of 16 ppm from 740 ppm in the oxide horizon, according to the statement.

READ: Enertopia says Clayton Valley solution testing well underway

The company also said potassium values have been dropped to 46 ppm in the upper oxide and to 64 ppm in the reduced zone from 1,800 ppm levels. Sodium values of 500 ppm and 600 ppm in the upper oxide and reduced horizons were dropped to 300 ppm and 434 ppm, respectively.

Ion resin exchange values below 500 ppm are considered the threshold for cost-effective potassium and sodium removal, the company said.

“We believe our next series of solution testing will further lower the contaminant levels even further,” which helps lower costs, the company said.

Since last month (March), the Kelowna-based firm has been running in-house tests to establish how to recover lithium in the most cost-effective way from synthetic brines.

READ: Enertopia says Clayton Valley solution testing well underway

From the bulk samples of 2017, the firm decided to carry out fraction size testing (using different particle sizes).

"The company is pleased to report that 16.5% of the sample which was composed of mainly coarser material contained only 2.5% of the lithium. The remaining 82.5% of the sample size contained 97.5% of the lithium," said Enertopia in today's statement.

Based on these positive results, the firm has now sent 5kg samples of material from the upper oxide, upper reduced, and main reduced zones to see if these three horizons can also be beneficially sorted as well.

''Our ongoing solution testing of the drilled lithium horizons continues to provide great insights and novel ways to strive for a low-cost mining and processing solution to unlock the potential value of the lithium enriched claystones,'' CEO of Enertopia Robert McAllister told investors.

In-house testing

Enertopia also revealed that its in-house testing had also confirmed its earlier results for removing contaminants and leaving lithium in solution.

The aim is to remove as much as possible unwanted contaminates before the enriched lithium synthetic solution is processed - lowering costs.

"Our pre-pH adjustments have demonstrated positive outcomes as contaminant minerals are greatly reduced allowing for a cleaner synthetic lithium brine to be processed using off the shelf technologies and variants developed by Entertopia," it told investors Tuesday.

<![CDATA[News - Enertopia Corp, the lithium project developer, excited to be at the beginning of long term growth story ]]> https://ca.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/news/215943/enertopia-corp-the-lithium-project-developer-excited-to-be-at-the-beginning-of-long-term-growth-story-215943.html Enertopia Corp (CNSX:TOP) (OTCMKTS:ENRT) is focused on producing battery-grade lithium from its Clayton Valley project in Nevada. The company’s ground consists of around 160 acres of claims.

Clayton Valley is a lithium hotspot and Albemarle Corp. (NYSE:AB), which owns the Silver Peak mine and its processing operation has been unearthing lithium from Clayton Valley’s brines since the mid-1960s. This is the only producing lithium mine in North America.

The asset

Enertopia's project is between Cypress Development’s and Noram Ventures’ properties, which both have published 43-101 lithium resources.

Drilling by Cypress adjacent to Enertopia's western boundary has led to an NI 43-101 indicated resource of around 3.8 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent at a grade of 865 ppm (parts per million) and within the Cypress resource is a high grade starter mine

It is worth noting that electric car giant Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) and its Gigafactory for manufacturing lithium batteries in vast quantities is also located in Nevada.
Enertopia, based in Kelowna, British Columbia, has stated the goal is to establish a lithium resource at Clayton Valley and develop a technology to extract the commodity from synthetic brine solutions by using a proven technology - a process it will be focusing on this year.

Drilling results are encouraging

Last month, Enertopia revealed that recent drilling had confirmed widespread lithium mineralization at the property.

All assays were received from four resource definition holes and one metallurgical test hole from the lab and confirmed widespread mineralization, with the average grade and thickness from the drill program around 1,120 ppm (parts per million) lithium over an average thickness of 284 feet.

There was also a higher-grade zone inside the total lithium horizon, which averaged more than 1,225 ppm over an average thickness of 177 feet, said Enertopia.

"Drilling has not only verified the company's expectations for the potential of the lithium horizon on our property but we have been able to show by the drill bit that the drill intersections to date indicate any future outlined resource could have lithium values exceeding those of the proposed high-grade starter pit envisioned on the Cypress Development property to our southwest," president Robert McAllister had said in a statement.

Solution testing continues

The company is about to embark on a third phase of work on solution testing to extract lithium.

Since late 2018, the firm has been carrying out tests to recover lithium from synthetic brine produced by leaching surface, lithium bearing claystones. So far, 32 solution tests have been run to create a database.

The third phase testing will use drill core material from the firm's diamond drill holes from its recently completed drilling program and will consist of 49 different sample intervals covering 397 feet of core.

The group also says it has also signed several NDA's (non-disclosure agreements) with industry partners as it works to reach its goal of a low capex solution.

Other firms in Nevada have shown that lithium can be extracted by conventional mining, says McAllister, at costs of around US$500 million for a big project of 20,000 tonnes a year.

"We think we can bring that down significantly, have a smaller footprint and that's what we're working o
on," he said.

Demand for lithium on the rise

Demand for the commodity is set to rise, driven by batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage for wind and solar plants. The metal is a vital component in electric vehicles (EVs), which are surely set to be the vehicle of choice in the future, while just as significant, but less discussed, perhaps is its application in the energy storage market.

Last month, Albermarle Corp, the globe's largest lithium producer (generating 25% of global supply) said it expects demand to grow 12% annually globally, with the market remaining tight for years.

Due to hybrid electric vehicles and battery powered ones, it reckons demand for lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) will be about 475,000 tons by 2021 and 1 million tons by 2025.

Last year, over 1 million plug- in cars were sold in China alone.

What the CEO says

Speaking to Proactive Investors at the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) in Toronto, McAllister said of Enertopia: "We are very excited to be in the sector (lithium) and this is a long term growth story."

The drilling confirms that the mineralized lithium claystone assemblage remains intact on the northern part of Enertopia’s property, as was intersected by a Cypress Development Corp (CVE:CYP) hole west of Enertopia's claim boundary.

Earlier this month the company said that a diamond drill rig would run 24 hours a day until five planned holes were completed.

The company said Monday that a second hole has been drilled to a depth of 258 feet, and drilling continues with the drill bit in reduced claystone. The upper claystone was intersected at 7 feet, but down-hole problems did not allow for the upper claystone to be properly cored until a depth of 22 feet, according to Enertopia. <![CDATA[News - Enertopia has an exciting lithium project at a great address in a burgeoning sector ]]> https://ca.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/news/210685/enertopia-has-an-exciting-lithium-project-at-a-great-address-in-a-burgeoning-sector-210685.html Enertopia Corp (CNSX:TOP) (OTCMKTS:ENRT) is about to get properly stuck into its flagship lithium project in Clayton Valley.

The company has received the key permit allowing first phase drilling from the relevant authorities in mining-friendly Nevada.

Drilling is expected to get underway in the middle of this month (December) and as long as no issues arise, it should take 14- 20 days with assays expected back from the lab two to three months later.

The program, as explained by CEO Robert McAllister to Proactive. will consist of five diamond drill holes totaling around 2,000 feet.

Four of the holes will lead potentially to a first 43-101 project-wide lithium resource.

A fifth will be sunk to around 400 feet with the recovered lithium enriched material being used for metallurgical and pH solution testing.

Enertopia, a British Columbia-based company, currently holds around 160 acres of pacer and lode claims in Clayton Valley - which is a lithium mining hotspot.

Notably, Albemarle Corp. (NYSE:AB) owns the Silver Peak mine and its processing operation has been unearthing lithium from Clayton Valley’s brines since the mid-1960s.

This is the only producing lithium mine in North America and Enertopia's Dan lode and Steve placer claims are nearby.

Enertopia's project is between Cypress Development’s and Noram Ventures’ properties, which both have published 43-101 lithium resources. Tesla's Gigafactory to manufacture lithium batteries in vast quantities is also located in Nevada.

Enertopia's Clayton Valley lithium project has had surface sampling with values up to 4,000 ppm (parts per million) lithium at surface.

Two bulk samples for a phase two bench test program returned 1,020 and 1,780 ppm respectively, while a 43-101 lithium resource has been reported east of its eastern claim boundary.

Demand for lithium not in doubt

Big banks like Deutsche are almost all in agreement that the next several years will see an increase of between 60% and 250% in demand for lithium — and that it will sell for 50% or more above historical levels.

The rise in demand will be driven by batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage for wind and solar plants

The metal is a vital component in electric vehicles (EVs), which are surely set to be the vehicle of choice in the future, while just as significant, but less discussed, perhaps is its application in the energy storage market.

According to Roskill’s 15th market outlook report this year, demand for lithium is expected to reach 1 million tonnes in the next nine years, with an annual growth rate of 16%.

Demand therefore is expected to increase an eye-watering 650% by 2027.

Innovative technology ...

The group's partner Genesis Water technologies has developed a lithium recovery process, which is aimed at reducing costs and optimizing the leaching process.

Tests have been carried out and a pilot plant is planned.

Lab testing early this year testing showed good results of the potential to create a clean synthetic lithium brine, which could be processed to battery-grade material.

Looking forward, in terms of processing the brines themselves, Enertopia plans to use 'off the shelf' processing equipment to adsorb lithium from its created synthetic brine solutions, which should keep a lid on costs.

Enertopia then is a developing story in a burgeoning and potentially highly lucrative industry. One to watch in forthcoming years.

The company said it had submitted an application to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada, for a so-called "area of disturbance permit" to allow for the work.

As previously reported the program consists of four holes totalling around 1,500 feet.

The idea is to generate a 43-101 project-wide lithium resource.

A fifth diamond hole will be drilled to an estimated depth of 400 feet, with the recovered lithium enriched material being used for metallurgical and pH solution testing.

This will enable Enertopia to map the subsurface horizons as peroxide, and reduce horizons to further differentiate the grade of lithium in the solution that can potentially be recovered in a low CAPEX with low-cost extraction methods.

The company continues to move forward with respect to recovering lithium from its synthetic brine solutions.

Enertopia shares added over 8% in New York to stand at $0.029.

The firm has a drill program at its Clayton Valley lithium project in Nevada in its sights and told investors Friday that a NOI (notice of intent) to drill is expected to be submitted shortly to the Bureau of Land Management.

Four diamond drill holes are planned to estimated depths of between 250 and 300 feet each. This will allow for a project-wide indicated resource.

A fifth diamond drill hole will be drilled to an estimated depth of 300ft and will be used for metallurgical and pH solution testing.

The data will then be incorporated into the first NI 43-101 resource report.

Enertopia will also carry out through solution testing of the drilled lithium enriched horizons to establish the grade that can be potentially recovered in a low capex and low-cost extraction methods.

Enertopia also highlighted two recent events in the lithium industry.

This month, Cypress Development Corp (CVE:CYP) announced its PEA (preliminary economic assessment) from its adjacent property to Enertopia's project.

That PEA shows that the claystone enriched horizons look to be a viable economic target while at the same time offering a capex that is significantly below that of similar scale hardrock spodumene lithium resources.

Meanwhile, on September 12, Standard Lithium said it had successfully processed lithium from its Arkansas Smackover lithium project.

Two key takeaways were using only a pH adjustment to the lithium-enriched O&G waste water and then using off-the-shelf ion exchange resins for the recovery and concentration of lithium.

"The company believes that these two events show the company has the right lithium project and is on track to potentially achieve the goal of being a low capex producer of battery-grade lithium materials," Enertopia said in Friday's regulatory release.

"We look forward to providing detailed updates as testing and drilling results are received over the coming months," said president and chief executive Robert McAllister.

On the placing tranche, Enertopia will issue around 2.22mln shares at three cents each and the same number of warrants that expire on September 21, 2021, with an exercise price of five U.S. cents for the three years.

Enertopia shares were unchanged in Toronto at C$0.035.

Speaking to Proactive, Enertopia's president and chief executive Robert McAllister said the work, comprising five holes and done by contractors, would likely to begin in late October, or November this year.

In a statement on Friday, he said that now there could be "final preparation" for submittal to the BLM of the company's NOI (notice of intent) to drill.

"The focus of the drill program is multifaceted," he said.

"Firstly, it is to confirm that the tenor and grade of mineralization that is adjacent to our property to the west is similar on our project. The information gained will then be incorporated into our first NI 43-101 resource report.

"Secondly, the company will undertake systematic and through solution testing of the drilled lithium enriched horizons.

"This will enable the company to map the subsurface horizons as peroxide and reduced horizons and further differentiate the grade of lithium in solution that can be potentially recovered in a low capex and low-cost extraction methods.

"Thirdly, the company continues to move forward with respect to recovering lithium from its synthetic brine solutions. We look forward to providing detailed updates as testing and drilling results are received over the coming months."

Of the five holes, one will be a twin hole, he said, speaking to Proactive's Steve Darling, which will allow solution testing to be carried out.

Bench-scale test work on lithium-bearing clays from Clayton Valley in Nevada is already being carried out.

The test work to create a Lithium brine with industry-leading low impurities is a big milestone toward developing the potential production of lithium salts and concentrate.

Enertopia shares on the OTC on Friday added around 19% to US$0.029. Today (September 4) in Toronto, they added over 16% to C$0.035.

The first phase has established that a synthetic brine high in lithium and low in magnesium can be produced by leaching at an elevated pH.

The testing and sampling program has been designed by Dr. John Thomas, B.Sc, M.Sc, Ph.D. chemical engineering will consist of multi-phase program that will comprise solution testing through various ion exchange resins, reverse osmosis membranes that are standard in the industry to refine, concentrate and polish our lithium brines for conversion to Lithium carbonate or hydroxide. The first phase baseline has been completed and the brine testing results are below.

The synthetic lithium brine samples were created using distilled water at room temperature and adding either CaOH or NaOH at maintained pH levels of 9, 10 and 11 for 2 hours. The ratio of 100g source material and 300ml distilled water at 20 degrees Celsius were used for this phase one testing program. It should be noted that the quantity of lime or sodium hydroxide used was small.

Testing showed that an alkaline leach of Clayton Valley source rock produces synthetic brines with much lower impurities than synthetic brines produced by acid leach of the same rock.

Testing also showed that we can produce a lithium brine solution at a far lower cost by using either a CaOH or NaOH caustic solution versus H2SO4.

Note sample TOP 3 was created using 130g source rock and 300 ml solution.*

The next phase of testing will consist of evaluating the process design for producing various lithium salts using Ion Exchange media.

"Technical work using the synthetic Lithium's brine samples from Clayton Valley, NV is progressing well. The test work creating a Lithium brine with industry-leading low impurities is a big milestone toward developing the potential production of lithium salts and concentrate. We are looking forward to ongoing positive results of this work as we move forward," said John Thomas, technical advisor of Enertopia.

Shares of Enertopia were down 14.3% at C$0.03 on Monday.

All components during the optimization phase of testing have performed as expected.

READ: Enertopia set for bench-scale testing using lithium samples from Clayton Valley

Genesis (GWT) has been varying the amounts of source rock used in various solution makeups. These variables included rock-to-liquid ratios, source rock leach times and varying pH levels; pH levels refer to the amount of hydrogen ion concentration in a solution.

The created leach brine solutions will be tested independently in each of the process steps of the GWT Enerlet lithium recovery process.

Upon optimization of each process step, the created leach brine solutions will be processed through the entire GWT Enerlet process completely, Enertopia said. The finished lithium carbonate product will be dried and analyzed to meet the required battery grade purity.

Over the next several weeks, solutions will be run through the optimized process for final testing of lithium brine solutions and lithium carbonate finished product.

Testing to date has been on time and on budget, Enertopia said, and based on the remaining test time required and subsequent time for the independent third party labs to perform their testing analysis it is still expecting to have final third-party lab results by the end of May.

Meanwhile, Enertopia is still beavering away to unlock the value of the lithium-bearing rock at and near the surface at the Clayton Valley lithium project in the uplifted block along the eastern flank of Clayton Valley, Nevada.

It is currently compiling data for its first drill program. Other preliminary work includes the review of on-site or off-site processing of the material for the pilot plant and pilot plant location. Due to the excellent infrastructure in the area, the company has several options that are currently being explored, it said.

The firm said it intended to use the cash for the continued development of the lithium brine recovery technology, optimization plans for the permitting and development of the company's Clayton Valley lithium project, and for general corporate and working capital purposes.

It will issue 6mln equity units priced at six cents a throw.

Each equity unit consists of one share and one non-transferable share purchase warrant, the latter entitling the holder to buy one further share for 24 months at 7.5 US cents.

In March, the group said it was set for more lithium recovery tests as it revealed partner Genesis Water Technologies Inc (GWT) will complete the bench scale build.

Pre-testing with synthetic Li (lithium) brine solutions will begin the following week and testing will continue until the end of May.

Final third-party lab results are currently expected by the end of May.

The synthetic Li brine samples will be made from Li enriched surface samples from Enertopia's Clayton Valley project.

<![CDATA[News - Enertopia puts brakes on medical marijuana ambitions to focus on nearer-term opportunities ]]> https://ca.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/news/108226/enertopia-puts-brakes-on-medical-marijuana-ambitions-to-focus-on-nearer-term-opportunities-108226.html Enertopia Corporation (CSE:TOP) (OTCBB:ENRT) has signed a binding Letter of Intent to sell wholly owned subsidiary Thor Pharma Corp. and its related Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) application covering a facility in Burlington, Ontario, the company said in a statement Friday.

The Burlington application and associated rights, co-owned by Enertopia and Lexaria Corp. (OTCQB:LXRP) (CSE:LXX) under a joint venture agreement, could generate up to $1,500,000 in milestone payments should the facility become licensed under the MMPR program. Any payments would be split approximately 50/50 between Lexaria and Enertopia.

Separately, Enertopia and The Green Canvas Ltd. have mutually agreed to terminate their joint venture covering a proposed 14,000 sq. ft medical marijuana production facility in Saskatchewan. As a result, 6,400,000 Enertopia common shares held in escrow by The Green Canvas will be returned to the corporate treasury and cancelled.

The announcement reflects the company’s decision to prioritize business opportunities in the health and wellness segment that offer potential for near-term cash flow and require moderate investment.

License approvals under the Canadian system regulating production of medical marijuana have slowed owing both to the large number of applications received by Health Canada and uncertainty resulting from ongoing court cases. Enertopia decided that it was not in the best interests of shareholders to pursue medical marijuana growing opportunities at this time given the associated financial obligations.

"The Company has completed two milestones in building a stable foundation with its ownership of 1,000,000 shares in Lexaria Corp.which has just filed PCT for patent pending bio technologies and the potential of approximately $750,000 in future payments from the Burlington application," Enertopia President Robert McAllister said.

As part of its strategic shift, the company last month initiated sales of a new product in the sexual health sector called V-Love. Enertopia said in a recent press release that sales of V-Love, a desire gel for women, at the Loblaws City Market in North Vancouver where it debuted had exceeded expectations, topping 150 units from the launch on May 9 through the end of that month.

Online sales of V-Love are set to begin soon, and McAllister said talks are ongoing with a number of potential retailers to carry the product.

Enertopia said in its press release that it will remain an advocate for responsible use of medical marijuana in Canada and retains the intention to one day become a licensed producer.

<![CDATA[News - V-Love launch gives Enertopia good start in health and wellness sector ]]> https://ca.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/news/108209/v-love-launch-gives-enertopia-good-start-in-health-and-wellness-sector-108209.html Enertopia’s (OTCQB:ENRT) (CSE:TOP) V-Love desire gel for women hit store shelves in May, three months to the day after the company partnered with well-known sexual health expert Maureen McGrath and announced its intention to develop a new product to help women reinvigorate their sexual interest. In line with its strategy to test-market and then gradually ramp up distribution, V-Love went on sale at Loblaws City Market in North Vancouver on May 9, complete with a launch party and an educational session on women’s health.

So far the results have been promising. With over 150 units sold during the month of May, the company issued a press release this week indicating that demand in the first month had exceeded expectations. “Our early number is several times what a major chain said we would have to hit on a monthly basis to be considered as a vendor, so we are very pleased,” said Robert McAllister, Enertopia’s President and CEO, via telephone.

In February, Enertopia announced plans to shift its focus to the health and wellness sector, reacting to a longer-than-anticipated timeframe for obtaining a production license for a medical marijuana facility in Ontario.

V-Love is the company’s first product in its health and wellness line. A topical gel designed to increase women’s sexual interest and desire, the active ingredients increase blood flow to the female genitalia. V-Love also acts as a lubricant to enhance comfort during intercourse.

McGrath, who hosts the popular Sunday Night Sex Show on Vancouver’s CKNW Radio and has a background in research and product development, participated directly in the creation of V-Love. She also helped Enertopia create a product platform based on educating women about understanding sexual desire and sexual health in general.

According to McGrath, at the moment there is not a single product on the market approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to address low sexual desire for women, although last week one did clear a major hurdle by winning the recommendation of an FDA advisory committee. In comparison, there are 26 medications approved for male sexual dysfunction.

As a registered nurse in the field of sexual health with her own private practice, McGrath knew what consumers needed in a new sexual desire gel. Water-based, V-Love is edible and has been tested for latex condom compatibility, relying on L-arginine and vitamin E to help improve elasticity, keep tissue youthful, increase blood flow and enhance lubrication.

An amino acid contained in watermelon and cucumbers, L-arginine has been shown to boost blood flow when applied, which may enhance the sexual pleasure for women.

McGrath said she has received hundreds of inquiries based on discussion of the product on her radio show and has even been recognized and quizzed on it when walking in public.

“A lot of women have low sexual desire and increased blood flow helps with swelling of a woman’s genitalia, including the clitoris. Vaginal lubrication begins which decreases friction and can make sex more pleasurable,” she explained.

A sought after public speaker and commentator on women’s issues, McGrath agreed to develop V-Love because, she says, “Low sexual desire is growing at an epidemic rate. We need to re-socialize women around their sexuality and V-Love is a product that can help to do that by raising awareness about female sexual health.”

One takeaway from McGrath’s statement is that it's not all about the money. And this is reflected in the product’s pricing. Retailing in the $18-20 dollar range, V-Love is priced as a premium product that provides Enertopia with a healthy margin, while still offering tremendous value to its users given the condition it seeks to address.

Although it might be marketed as such, V-Love is not just for women, according to McGrath. When it comes to sexual desire, women are more complex than men, she explained. ”By educating men that self stimulation is also important for women and that V-Love may help with increasing blood flow and decreasing friction, men can learn what it takes to make a sexual experience that’s more satisfying for both partners. This is a pivotal time in history for female sexuality. Finally, women are ready to embrace their sexuality and talk about a subject that until recently has been considered quite taboo.”

With a good start under its belt, Enertopia is negotiating with several retailers in Western Canada in an effort to get V-Love into more stores. Plans also call for initiating online sales in the near future. “We think online sales will be very important because not everyone will live near a store that carries the product,” explains McAllister.

Canada is the focus for the time being, and as V-Love is just getting under way on the sales front there are plenty of markets nationally to keep the Enertopia team busy for the foreseeable future. That having been said, the company intends to introduce a V-Love product in other markets that is infused with hemp oil-derived cannabidiols, which are known to have antioxidant and other desirable properties.

“If we can show with our efforts in Canada that there is a consistently strong market for V-Love at a certain price point, then expansion into other markets would just come as a natural extension,” commented McAllister, who made it clear he won’t put the cart before the horse. “We know we have to walk before we can run.”
