The advanced exploration stage Tomtebo Property is located in the Bergslagen Mining District of south central Sweden is the Company’s main focus. Tomtebo comprises 5,144 ha, and is situated between the historic Falun Mine and Boliden’s Garpenberg Mine that are located 25 km to the northwest and southeast, respectively. Two historic polymetallic mines and numerous polymetallic showings are located on the Tomtebo Property along an approximate 17 km trend that exhibits similar geology, structure, alteration and VMS/SedEx style mineralization as other significant mines within the district. Mineralization that is open at depth and along strike at the historic mines on the Tomtebo Property has not been followed up on, and modern systematic exploration has never been conducted on the Property.
Tomtebo - Sweden
In February 2020, District Metals entered into a purchase agreement with EMX Royalties Corp. (TSX-V:EMX) to acquire 100% ownership of the Tomtebo Property located in the prolific Bergslagen Mining District of South Central Sweden. Trollberget - Sweden

Bakar - British Columbia
On July 12, 2019, District Metals Corp. acquired a 100% interest in the Bakar high grade copper property (Bakar Property) for $50,000 in cash payments, and 1.25M common shares, $200,000 in work commitments, and a 2% NSR that may be repurchased for $6.5M. The Company has also staked additional adjacent mineral claims along trend that increased the size of the Bakar Property from 1,349 hectares (ha) to 15,687 ha.
The Bakar Property is located on Northern Vancouver Island with excellent access and infrastructure. The Bakar Property is adjacent west from the active logging village of Holberg, and 40 km west from the full-service town of Port Hardy. The area covered by the Bakar Property is within a copper-rich geological domain that hosts the past producing Island Copper Mine, the Hushamu Deposit, and the Red Dog Deposit. The Island Copper Mine was operated by BHP from 1971 to 1995, and produced 345 million metric tonnes of ore with average grades of 0.41% copper, 0.017% molybdenum, 0.19 g/t gold and 1.4 g/t silver.*

PRESIDENT, CEO, AND DIRECTOR
Mr. Ainsworth is an accomplished professional geologist and mining executive that has been awarded for two significant mineral discoveries, and has raised more than $300M in equity and convertible debt throughout his career.
Prior to joining District Metals Corp., Mr. Ainsworth was Vice President Exploration & Development at NexGen Energy Ltd. where he led the technical team, and was involved with marketing and raising capital. For his technical work at NexGen, Mr. Ainsworth was co-recipient of the 2018 PDAC Bill Dennis Award, and the 2016 Mines and Money Exploration Award. Prior to NexGen, Mr. Ainsworth was the Vice President Exploration at Alpha Minerals Inc., and project managed the discovery of the Patterson Lake South high-grade uranium boulder field and drill discovery of the Triple R Uranium deposit. Mr. Ainsworth was named co-recipient of the AMEBC Colin Spence Award in 2013 for his lead role in the discovery of Triple R.
Mr. Ainsworth is currently a Director with Standard Uranium Ltd. and a Technical Advisor with Genesis Metals Corp. Mr. Ainsworth was previously a Director of IsoEnergy Ltd. and NxGold Ltd. from 2016 to 2018. Mr. Ainsworth is a Professional Geoscientist (PGeo) in the Provinces of British Columbia and Saskatchewan. He also holds a Diploma of Technology in Mining and Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Engineering with honours from BCIT, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology with first class honours from Birkbeck, University of London.
Mr. Cooper is a Chartered Professional Accountant with extensive experience in all aspects of corporate and financial management. For the past 35 years, Mr. Cooper has been providing strategic and financial advice and corporate administration services, and has held senior positions with a number of public and private companies with local and international operations. He was formerly the CFO of VRB Power Systems Inc., a TSXV listed company involved in the development and production of flow-battery energy storage systems, CEO and a director of a ship-construction project with a budget in excess of $400 million, and Director of Finance & Administration at a shipyard that had employed over 1,000 workers. He currently acts CFO, corporate secretary or director of various other TSXV listed companies. Mr. Cooper has a Hons. Bachelor of Accounting from the University of South Africa and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
Ms. Wells has been an integral member on some of Vancouver’s most successful teams in corporate finance and venture capital markets that have sourced, developed and facilitated capital investments, which financed and brought countless companies to market. She has over 30 years of experience with administrative and corporate services for a variety of private companies, and public companies on the CSE, TSX, and TSXV. Ms. Wells is currently Corporate Administrator of Sentinel Corporate Services Inc., and was previously with Dundee Securities, Investment Banking focused on mining for 10 years.
Ms. Cameron is Associate Counsel at DuMoulin Black LLP and has 21 years’ experience as a lawyer, providing corporate, governance and securities and corporate advice to clients. Prior to joining DuMoulin Black LLP, Ms. Cameron was the Vice President Legal, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of NexGen. Prior to that, Ms. Cameron was also previously a partner at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP, Lawson Lundell LLP and Norton Rose LLP. Ms. Cameron obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Arts, Honours (Economics and History) from Queen’s University. Ms. Cameron was named in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory (Mining) for 2015 and 2016, achieved the Martindale Hubbell, BV Distinguished rating, named in Best Lawyers in Canada (2013 to 2016 and 2020) for Mining and Securities and was a finalist in the Lexpert “Top 40 Under 40” (2009). Also, in 2017 Ms. Cameron was a Finalist in the Western Canadian General Counsel Awards (Deal Making category).
Mr. Ramshaw has spent more than two decades as a senior executive in the resource sector. Following obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Geology from the Royal School of Mines, Mr. Ramshaw began his career in the U.K. including time spent as a mining analyst for an independent brokerage firm in London prior to moving to Canada. More recently he served as President and CEO of Corex Gold Corp., and presided over its merger with Minera Alamos Inc. where he continues to serve as President. Mr. Ramshaw also acts as an independent director of Great Bear Resources.
Ms. Ladd-Kruger has over 20 years’ experience in the mining industry and is currently the CFO & VP Corporate Development for Excellon Resources (EXN.TO) a TSX listed silver producer with an operating mine in Mexico. She was also the former the CFO of Trevali Mining Corporation (“Trevali”), a zinc focused mid-tier base metals producer. She was part of the executive management team that grew Trevali from a junior exploration portfolio to a producing Company with 4 operating mines in the Americas and Africa, reaching a market cap of over $1 billion on the TSX. Ms. Ladd-Kruger’s position as Chief Financial Officer of Trevali served as her principal occupation from 2011 to 2018. Ms. Ladd-Kruger has raised over $1 billion dollars in debt and equity throughout her career in the mining sector. Anna has also served as the Chief Financial Officer for several Canadian publicly listed junior mining companies including Crowlight Minerals and Sulliden Gold Corporation. Ms. Ladd-Kruger began her mining career with Vale S.A. at their Thompson, Manitoba operations and was also the North American Group Controller for Kinross Gold Corporation. Ms. Ladd-Kruger is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, CMA), and holds a Master of Economics (M.A.) degree and Bachelor of Commerce (B. Comm. Honours) degree from Queen’s University and the University of British Columbia. She is also currently a director and the Audit Chair for Integra Resources (ITR.V).
Mr. McNamara is a geologist who has been involved in the resource industry since 2007. He shared the 2018 PDAC Bill Dennis “Prospector of the Year” Award and 2016 Mines and Money Exploration Award, for his work on the Arrow uranium deposit. In 2014, Mr. McNamara co-founded Pioneer Exploration Consultants Ltd., a successful exploration consulting business, and Pioneer Aerial Surveys Ltd, a company focused on developing UAV-borne geophysical surveys. Prior to that, he managed surface exploration at what is now SSR Mining’s Seabee Gold Operation where he worked on the early drill development of the currently producing Santoy Gap gold deposit. Mr McNamara holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in geology from Laurentian University of Sudbury, Ontario. He has extensive experience managing exploration and the rapid advancement of mineral projects beginning at discovery.
Mr. Chang has 23 years of experience in the financial services industry and was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of a NASDAQ-listed company where he rescued the firm from bankruptcy by sourcing, negotiating, and securing two capital infusions totaling $103 M despite unprecedented headwinds. Previously, he served as the Managing Director and Head of Metals & Mining at Cantor Fitzgerald where he provided research coverage in precious metals, base metals, lithium, and uranium. He is well familiar with the uranium mining industry, and is considered a subject matter expert by several media outlets. He was recognized by Bloomberg as the "Best Precious Metals Analyst" in Q1 2016. Mr. Chang is frequently quoted by and a regular guest of several media outlets including: Bloomberg, Reuters, CNBC, and the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Chang previously served as a Director of Research and Portfolio Manager at Middlefield Capital, a Canadian investment firm which managed $3 billion in assets. He was also on a five-person multi-strategy hedge fund team where he specialized in equity and derivative investments. Mr. Chang completed his MBA at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management.
