Graham Harris, B.A.
Chairman / Director
Mr. Harris has over 30 years’ experience in the finance industry, including as a senior VP of Canaccord Genuity Corp. (1999-2004) and as a senior VP and partner of Yorkton Securities (1989-1999). He has directly raised over 400 million in development and venture capital for public and private companies. He was a founder of Cap-Ex Iron Ore Ltd., a founding director of M2 Cobalt Corp- recently merged with ASX listed Jervois Mining Ltd. and is the founder of Millennial Lithium Corp . Mr Harris currently serves as a Chairman and Director of Millennial Lithium Corp.
Farhad Abasov, MBA
President and CEO / Director
Mr. Abasov has over 15 years of experience founding and managing natural resource companies. Most recently Mr. Abasov served as President & CEO of Allana Potash Corp., a potash development company which was sold to Israel Chemical Ltd. for $170M in 2015. Mr. Abasov was also the Executive Chairman of Rodinia Lithium, a company developing lithium brine assets in Argentina. Previous to Allana Mr. Abasov was a co-founder of Potash One which was acquired by German potash company K+S for $430M in 2010. Prior to Potash One Mr. Abasov was a Senior Vice President, Strategy at Energy Metals which was acquired by Uranium One for $1.8B in 2007. Mr. Abasov brings a unique skill set of leadership and proven ability to build strong shareholder value by successfully developing early stage assets.
Kyle Stevenson, B. Comm.
Mr. Stevenson has over 15 years experience in finance, marketing and public relations. Kyle has filled several high profile roles over the years, including; Founder of Liquid Entertainment and Waterproof Studios, a top tier animation and visual effect studio that works with the world’s premier gaming and film companies, and founder and Director of RuralCom Networks – RuralCom is a licenses telecom provider and owner of Canadian 850 MHZ spectrum.
Richard Lacroix, P.Eng.
Mr. Lacroix has extensive experience in all aspects of potash mining, processing and marketing including 30+ years with Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan (PCS). Mr. Lacroix is a former Senior Vice President of PCS and former Director of Canpotex and former Chairman of Canpotex Bulk Terminals. Most recently Mr. Lacroix served as a Director for Allana Potash Corp. In addition to an extensive career in potash Mr. Lacroix was involved in base metal mining operations in northern Canada and Ontario. Mr. Lacroix brings a wealth of experience in large-scale mining operations, product marketing, distribution and transportation.
Jack Scott, MBA. P.Eng.
Mr. Scott is currently Executive Vice President, Major Projects of the Alberici Group. Mr. Scott’s prior roles include senior executive positions in publicly-traded Allana Potash Corp.; NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc. and AGRA Inc. (now part of Wood Group plc). Mr. Scott has also held executive roles at Advanced Applied Physics Solutions Inc. at TRIUMF, Canada’s national particle physics lab; Atomic Energy of Canada Limited; and ADCOM Inc. Mr. Scott has a P.Eng in Chemical Engineering from Queens University and a MBA from UWO.
Iain Scarr, MBA BSc. Geology
COO / Vice President-Development and Exploration
A seasoned geologist and former senior executive with Rio Tinto, Mr. Scarr benefits from an illustrious career spanning nearly 30 years with the world’s second largest mining company. Among his many accomplishments, he played a key role in multiple mineral discoveries in North and South America, as well as Africa.
He has also worked on the commercial justification for the world’s largest lithium resource — the lithium-borate deposit in Serbia.
Following his career with Rio Tinto, he joined Lithium One Inc. to advance the Sal de Vida lithium brine deposit in Argentina through to feasibility (a production decision) with Galaxy Resources. Following Galaxy, Mr. Scarr worked for the Enirgi Group, overseeing the completion of a positive feasibility study for a processing plant at the world-class Rincon lithium brine project, which is also in Argentina.
Peter J. MacLean, Ph.D., P. Geo.
Senior Vice President-Technical Services
Dr. MacLean has over 25 years of exploration and development experience in North America, South America and Africa. Most recently Dr. MacLean acted as SVP-Exploration of Allana Potash Corp. and directed all exploration and development activities on its flagship Danakhil Potash Project in Ethiopia up to its takeover by ICL including managing the Company’s Feasibility Study and overseeing pilot solution mining and evaporation pond trials. Dr. MacLean has also worked extensively on base metal and precious metal projects throughout the Americas and is fluent in Spanish. Dr. MacLean will work closely with Iain Scarr, Millennial’s COO, to assist with the current development program of the Company’s brine assets in Argentina.
Vice President-Capital Markets
Mr. Alexander Langer is a successful public markets specialist with over 12 years of experience in all aspects of equity financing. Mr. Langer started his career as an Investment Advisor with Canaccord Wealth Management, where he helped fund over 100 private and publically listed companies in various sectors including technology, mining, health care, forestry, and green technology. Alex has worked with numerous private and publically traded companies in various senior management positions including: CEO, President, Director, Capital Markets, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Corporate Communications and Marketing.
Brian Morrison, BComm
Mr. Morrison received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2004 and completed the Canadian securities course in 2006. From January 2005 to May 2008, Mr. Morrison was an account manager with Computershare Investor Services Inc., an international full-service financial services, corporate trust and stock transfer company. Since June 2008, he has been a self-employed consultant working in the area of public company administration. Mr. Morrison currently serves and has previously served as a director or as chief financial officer of various publicly traded issuers.
