Purchase of own securities

On 26 July 2016, Herald Investment Trust plc (the "Company") purchased for cancellation 55,137 ordinary shares at a price of 763.16p.

Following the purchase and cancellation of the above shares, 74,593,701 ordinary shares of 25p each will remain in issue. The Company holds no ordinary shares in Treasury.

This figure - 74,593,701 - may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company's shares under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency rules.
