Asterion will be developing the largest and most sophisticated state-of-the-art medicinal cannabis cultivation, research and manufacturing facility in the developed world. The 75-hectare site will consist of ~40 hectares of greenhouse cultivation, a research center and onsite GMP manufacturing for the company’s end product. The facility will be powered by renewable energy.
The greenhouses will be built out in three phases: 1st Phase – 10 ha; 2nd Phase – 10 ha; and 3rd Phase – 20 ha with the facility’s expected outputs, upon completion, to exceed 500,000 kg per annum.
Operations will be developed under the guidance of one of Canada’s most experienced cannabis operations and start-up team, White Sheep Corp.
White Sheep has extensive performance history operating, building and licensing for cultivation and sales under the strict ACMPR (Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations) and MMPR (Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations) government regulations in Canada.
