Production averaged 715 barrels equivalent during first 10 days

Oilex (LON:OEX) has reported steady production from its Cambay-77H well in India.

Production averaged 715 barrels equivalent during first 10 days, comprising 2.7MMscf (millions standard cubic feet) gas and 252 barrels (bbls) of condensate.

Cambay-77H’s daily gas sales averaged around 0.267MMscf with the peak rate 0.572MMscf a day (MMscfd).

Elsewhere, at Bhandut, Oilex said its gas buyer is expected to complete a flow line by early next year, when commercial production can start.

Bhandut-3 is expected to start production at 0.7MMscfd.

Ron Miller, managing director, said: "Cambay continues to deliver positive results with Cambay-77H gas production gradually increasing as the low pressure gas market demand permits.

“While the higher than anticipated CGR [condensate] at present is positive, ongoing production data is necessary to determine its sustainability.”

Getting Bhandut-3‘s gas production facilities ready for production was another milestone, he said.
