Capstone Infrastructure urges vote for Irving

Advisors recommend Capstone Infrastructure shareholders vote for acquisition by Irving Infrastructure

Glass Lewis and Institutional Shareholder Services, two independent proxy advisory firms, have recommended that Capstone Infrastructure (TSE:CSE) shareholders vote for Irving Infrastructure, a subsidiary of iCON Infrastructure Partners III, to acquire all common shares of Capstone and Class B exchangeable units of Capstone's  MPT LTC Holding LP for C$4.90 cash per share or unit, as applicable.

The acquisition will be completed under the British Columbia Business Corporations Act.

Capstone, formerly Macquarie Power and Infrastructure Corporation, is an open-ended trust that invests in natural gas cogeneration, Wind, Hydro, Biomass and Solar power generation.

Capstone shares traded at C$4.82, a gain of 0.4%, on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
