Oz Brewing granted trading halt

Oz Brewing (ASX:OZB) has been granted an ASX trading halt in relation to an announcement on the vendors of 3D Group.

In July 2014, the company entered into a heads of agreement to acquire 3D Group, which is focused on opportunities associated with 3D printing.

The 3D printing market is still at its early stages with application and growth expected to grow substantially over the coming years.

3D Group has also entered a binding agreement with Kibaran Resources (ASX:KNL) to establish a joint venture company, 3D Graphtech Industries, to explore and develop the application of graphite and graphene in 3D printing.

The halt will last until the earlier of the announcement being made or the commencement of trade on Thursday, 8th January 2014.
