Mexico-focused mine developer Minera Alamos Inc (CVE:MAI, OTCQB:MAIFF) is to change its ticker to MAIFF on the OTC Markets after getting approval, it said.

The previous trading symbol was VGMTF, the resource group said in a short filing.

Minera Alamos has a growing portfolio of high-quality Mexican projects, including the Santana project, the La Fortuna open-pit gold project in Durango and the Guadalupe de los Reyes gold/silver project in Sinaloa.

It is well financed to conduct its planned exploration and it continues to pursue additional project acquisitions in Latin America.
