Callitas Health Inc (CSE:LILY, OTCQB:MPHMF) announced that its interim CEO, James Thompson, will now be a permanent fixture at the head of the health and wellness company.
Thompson was also serving as interim president after former CEO Gary Thompson stepped down for health reasons. The new CEO was formerly the company’s chief operating officer before stepping up to fill the void.

“We look forward to where and how he expands the products and offerings of the company. He is a strong business leader and the right fit for Callitas as the company reaches new levels of expansion," said board member William Rodgers.
Callitas recently welcomed Dr. Gregory Smith, a medical expert well-versed in cannabinoid medication, as the firm’s chief medical cannabis advisor.
One of the clinical-stage company’s newest products included CannaMint Strips, a minty breath strip that offers users a discreet way to use cannabis.
Shares of the Ohio-based company were flat at US$0.18 in Thursday pre-market trading.
