CROP Infrastructure (CNSX:CROP) said its tenant at the Humboldt County property in California has started harvesting cannabis from its greenhouses.
The tenant has greenhouses covering 10,000 square feet at the property.
The company, which provides financing for land expansion, turnkey state-of-the-art greenhouse facilities, said the operation began in the first of five 2,000 square foot greenhouses; in the remaining four greenhouses harvesting will be at the rate of one per week.
“This is an exciting time at CROP as our California property’s tenant reaches its first harvest,” said CROP Infrastructure director and chief executive officer, Michael Yorke.
"First production is always a very important milestone as the results will be analyzed closely and will give an indication of what is not only achievable long term on this property, but also similar ones,” he added.
Shares in CROP were up 4.3% at C$0.24.
