Duos Technologies completes key Lenel integration to boost security offerings

Florida-based Duos Technologies Group Inc (OTCQB:DUOT), a provider of intelligent security and analytical technology solutions, announced Tuesday that it had received important certification under the Lenel Open Access Alliance Program.

The Jacksonville company’s intelligent security solutions combine machine learning, artificial intelligence and video analytics that are delivered through its proprietary integrated enterprise command and control platform, centraco. Duos provides its broad range of technology solutions with an emphasis on mission-critical security, inspection and operations within the rail, retail, petrochemical, government, and banking sectors.

Duos also provides its technology to both freight and transit railroads with the aim of streamlining the inspection process, and replacing the time-consuming in-yard physical inspections with an automated process.

“The continuing integration of third-party technologies is an important part of our strategy of maximizing and expanding the capabilities and features of our centraco platform,” said Duos Technologies COO Noel Heiks. “Our software development focuses on technologies which can drive new business in our identified markets.”

Duos offers comprehensive security solutions through its praesidium and centraco software platform. With a certified interface to Lenel’s OnGuard product, Duos clients can now benefit from an integrated solution for access control, said the compnay. Lenel is a part of United Technologies Corp’s (NYSE:UTX) UTC Climate, Controls and Security unit.

The certification of this interface expands the capabilities of the Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) component of the Duos centraco 3.0 platform. PSIM offers users seamless access controllers paired with any standard card and biometric readers from HID and other manufactures.

The centraco platform, acting as an overarching central control interface, enables operators to manage an organization’s system-wide door access from a single interface.

The certification by Lenel is a step forward in the development and integration of the company’s core technologies and boosts Duos’ competitiveness in is key markets for Physical Security Information Management.

Duos stock traded flat at US$0.55 before the opening bell.
