Galantas Gold reveals results of two channel samples from the Kearney vein

The channel samples were taken as part of geological assessment procedures designed to enhance statistical assessment for mining

Galantas Gold Corp (LON:GAL, CVE:GAL) has announced the results of the analysis of two-channel samples taken from the Kearney vein at its Omagh mine.

One channel sample returned a grade of 7.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, with 10.6 g/t silver over a true vein width of 1.8 metres.

The second channel sample returned a grade of 10.4 g/t gold and 22.4 g/t silver over a true vein width of 3.2 metres. The first channel sample did not include some mineralised material that was obstructed by the hanging wall margin.

Shares in Galantas were down 0.4p at 5.5p in early deals.
