Arizona Silver Exploration names Smythe LLP as its new auditor

The miner says the replacement of its previous accountant, Davidson and Company, has been approved by the board

Arizona Silver Exploration Inc (CVE:AZS, OTCQB:AZASF) said it has named Smythe LLP as the auditor for the mining company.

The chartered professional accounting firm replaces Davidson and Company LLP, which Arizona Silver said resigned at its request.

Arizona Silver said in a press release Thursday that the change had been approved by the Vancouver-based company’s audit committee and board of directors.

The miner said that Davidson had expressed no reservations in its reports for the two most recently completed fiscal years.

Arizona Silver said in June that its recent sampling results from its Sycamore Canyon gold and silver property in Arizona had beaten expectations.
