Former Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams launched his Real Wellness CBD products line over the weekend, according to a Miami New Times report.

The Heisman trophy winner stunned fans when he decided to leave the National Football League following a string of failed drug tests and suspensions related to his marijuana use.

Williams said his marijuana use cost him around $10 million in salary and potential endorsement deals, but he felt that marijuana was the best way to self-medicate for his depression, social anxiety disorder and various sports-related injuries.

His company teamed up with Miami-based CBDoobie to launch a line of CBD-based wellness products.
