Leading Edge Materials Corp (CVE:LEM) (OTCQB:LEMIF) said Wedneday that chief executive and president Blair Way has stepped down from the firm, effective Jan. 31, 2018. 

Director Mark Saxon has been appointed interim chief executive officer and president.

"We thank Blair for his hard work and commitment over the last five years and wish him well for the future. We appreciate his ongoing input as we continue to progress the Woxna graphite project in Sweden," said chairman Michael Hudson in a statement. 

Leading Edge Material's key assets include the fully built and permitted Woxna graphite mine in Sweden.

Shares of Leading Edge Materials were at C$0.20 on Wednesday.
