LithiumOre names George Scheid as senior drilling project manager for Nevada site

The 30-year industry veteran will work on the company's Railroad Valley project

LithiumOre is working on establishing low-cost supply for the lithium-ion battery industry

LithiumOre said Friday that it has named George Scheid as senior drilling project manager.

The subsidiary of Incline Village, Nevada-based Oroplata Resources Inc (OTCMKTS:ORRP) said in a statement that Scheid will work on the Railroad Valley lithium project in Nevada. He is currently senior drilling project manager at Teton Energy Services and has more than 30 years of on-site experience.

"As we advance our goal of becoming one of the largest and most sustainable lithium production companies in the US, we are pleased to bring on someone with Scheid's expertise in drilling operations management,” said CEO Doug Cole.

LithiumOre said it’s focusing on establishing low-cost, environmentally sound production to supply the lithium-ion battery industry.

Shares of Oroplata fetched $0.26 in Thursday’s OTC Markets trading.
