Martello Technologies inks partnership with GuestTek to provide high-speed internet to hotels

The companies will deliver high-speed internet access to more than 25 hotels, including some iconic brands

Martello Technologies Group Inc (CVE:MTLO), an IT solutions company, is teaming up with with GuestTek Interactive Entertainment Ltd, an internet provider to the hospitality industry.

The companies will deliver high-speed internet access to more than 25 hotels, including some iconic brands. The privately-held GuestTek will make use of Martello’s link balancing and software-defined wide-area network to reduce costs while maintaining a dynamic reliable network.

“GuestTek is a well-regarded provider in the hospitality industry, and we’re pleased to partner with them to serve hotels around the world,” CEO Stefanie Richheimer said. “Together, we are addressing the challenge of delivering reliable high speed internet access as bandwidth demands increase with increased adoption of video streaming and other real-time services.”

The announcement, released Monday, comes as the two companies are participating in the HITEC conference, the hospitality industry’s largest technology event.

Martello is an Ottawa-based company with international operations in the US, the Netherlands and France. Its offerings include unified communications management software, IT systems visualization and SD-WAN technology. 

GuestTek, headquartered in Calgary, serves more than 3,500 hotels in 85 countries.
