Ascent Industries Corp (CSE:ASNT) (OTCMKTS:PGTMF) told investors Thursday that David Kennedy will be joining the firm's new management team to lead operations at its Las Vegas facility.
It noted that Kennedy spent 16 years with agricultural titan ConAgra, which culminated with him having responsibility for 18 manufacturing plants across the United States, Canada and internationally.

He has 28 years' of manufacturing operations management experience as well as his most recent involvement in the cannabis industry.
"With extensive knowledge in new product launches, key certification and licensing efforts, cost controls, team building, and large manufacturing start-up roles, Mr. Kennedy is well suited for this critical position with Ascent," the firm said in a statement.
"I am excited to welcome David as Ascent continues to expand the highly qualified management team that will deliver on our vision of a world that lives better through cannabis," added Ascent's interim CEO Paul Dillman.
New manager for Oregon
The appointment comes after the company revealed last week that it had appointed a new manager to help lead operations at its Portland, Oregon facility, with Annabeth Rose joining the team as operations director-Oregon.
