Tony Shearer, chairman of Aurasian Minerals (LON:AUM), formerly Triple Plate Junction, is hopeful of securing the mining licences the company has its eye on in South East Asia.
Shearer is keeping his cards close to his chest in terms of where these licences will be, but says the focus is on four countries: Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and possibly Indonesia.
It comes after a tough few years for the AIM-listed miner, which has shifted its focus away from Papua New Guinea.
