Asiamet Resources has billion dollar potential - CEO

Tony Manini, chief executive of Asiamet Resources Limited (LON:ARS, CVE:ARS) says, "We've definitively got the assets here to create a business that's worth many hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars."

The mining veteran was speaking about the maths of the Beruang Kanan Main copper deposit in Central Kalimantan.  “If you can produce 50,000 tonnes of copper a year you're a billion dollar plus business. The asset base is very capable of achieving that and we've got the team in place that's done this multiple times before and has the ability to execute on that plan."

The Indonesia-focused copper project developer said drilling continues to intersect shallow high grade copper mineralisation within the BK058 zone and talks to engage a strategic investor  are ongoing with groups in both Indonesia and China to support the build out of the company and the project.
