Next Wednesday’s event brings together three companies on the cusp of reaching potentially important milestones.

The management team from Galantas Gold (LON:GAL), Savannah Resources (LON:SAV) and OPG Power (LON:OPG) will be outlining what these developments could mean for future growth.

Galantas Gold is dual listed on Toronto's venture exchange and London's AIM. It owns a recently producing open pit gold mine near Omagh - Ireland's only gold mine.

Earlier this year it raised over £300,000 as it looks to obtain planning consent for an underground mine.

President and Chief Executive Roland Phelps will join us to update on current activity and how the application is progressing.

Savannah Resources is a multi-commodity exploration and development company focused on the Jangamo Heavy Mineral Sands project in a world class mineral sands region in Mozambique.

The company also owns two highly prospective copper blocks in Oman 180km west of the capital city Muscat.

Savannah expects to receive the highly anticipated results from its airborne magnetic survey, now completed, on the Block 4 copper-gold project in Oman in early June.

Savannah also holds a strategic interest in AIM listed Alecto Minerals Plc, which provides exposure to a number of gold projects in Mali, Ethiopia and Mauritania.  Savannah's chief executive David Archer will be with us.

Finally, OPG Power develops and operates power plants in India and earlier this month announced that its new Gujarat plant had commenced commercial operations, with output projected to ramp up as additional capacity becomes available.

At full output, the coal-fired Gujarat station will produce 300 megawats (Mw), while costs associated with this plant are lower than its plants in Chennai.

Overall, the group is reportedly on track to reach 750 megawatt (Mw) production in June this year and what's more, is eyeing further capacity expansion to over 2,000 Mw.

Strategy Director Ajay Paliwal will be with us for an update.

Please join us at 5:45pm to allow for a prompt 6pm start. Each company has 20 minutes to give a short presentation and then 10 minutes Q&A. This will be followed by the 'Champagne Raffle' where six guests will win a bottle each.

The event will be rounded off with a drinks reception with canapés.
