New Pacific Metals Corp (CVE:NUAG) (OTCMKTS:NUPMF) released "good" final results for preliminary metallurgical test work at its wholly-owned flagship Silver Sand project located in the Potosí Department of Bolivia. In a statement released on Tuesday, the Vancouver-based company said: “This preliminary metallurgical program has demonstrated that good silver extraction rates are possible using these simple extraction methods and that further improvements and refinements should be possible in future programs after fine-tuning the various test parameters."

CB2 Insights (CSE:CBII) (OTCQB:CBIIF), a leading data-driven company focused on bringing real-world evidence driven from the point-of-care to the medical cannabis community and healthcare sector, said will be hosting its Q2 2019 earnings call on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 4:30 pm Eastern Daylight Time. Cabral Gold Inc (CVE:CBR) (OTCMKTS:CBGZF) said the TSX Venture Exchange had accepted for filing documentation concerning a non-brokered private placing announced on July 26 this year. Cabral will offer over 22.7 million shares at C$0.15 a throw and over 22.7 million warrants to buy over 22.7 million shares for an exercise price of C$0.20 for one year.

Medallion Resources Ltd (CVE:MDL) (OTCMKTS:MLLOF) reported further progress on its plans to produce rare-earth magnet metals by processing monazite, saying final testwork had been carried out on its extraction process. In a statement Tuesday, the Vancouver based firm said that the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) had successfully concluded the final major testwork program. Medallion has received funding from the federal government through the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP) to support this work.

TruTrace Technologies Inc (CSE:TTT) (OTCMKTS:TTTSF), the medical cannabis verification company, said Tuesday that it has inked a pact with Anandia Laboratories Inc to collaborate on analytical and genetic testing for cannabis. In a statement, the company said it plans to establish a strategic working relationship with Anandia to collaborate on an integrated testing solution linked to TruTrace's development of StrainSecure, the first blockchain platform, that registers and tracks cannabis intellectual property.

True Leaf Brands Inc (CSE:MJ) (OTCMKTS:TRLFF) is launching a new cannabidiol supplement for canine companions at the end of September. The veterinarian-formulated CBD chews for dogs will use non-GMO, pesticide free hemp leaves with naturally occurring cannabidiol. The Vernon, British Columbia-based company will launch the new products on September 30 across pet retail stores in the US and its online store, Trueleaf.com.

Newgioco Group Inc (OTCQB:NWGI), the global sports betting and gaming tech firm, told investors it was on pace to meet its guidance for C$500 million total betting handle for 2019. That's the total amount of money in bets placed with the firm, which for the half year to June 30 came in at C$236.2 million, up 23.9% compared to C$190.6 million in the same period a year earlier. Gross gaming revenue for the half year came in at C$20.6 million, which was 9.5% higher than the C$18.8 million seen in 2018. The firm makes most of its revenues in Italy and noted that it had doubled its retail distribution in the country over the last six months.

Duos Technologies Group Inc (OTCMKTS:DUOT) announced Tuesday that it has won a $1 million contract from a Class 1 freight railroad company to use artificial intelligence algorithms for automated rail-car inspections. Duos said the five-year contract, awarded via its operating subsidiaries Duos Technologies Inc and truevue360, will provide about $1 million in recurring revenue. The name of the railroad company was not disclosed. Under the contract, Duos will provide an initial library of AI-based algorithms which will analyze images from its rail inspection portal for maintenance inspection of the customer’s railcars.

Fireweed Zinc Ltd (CVE:FWZ) ) (OTCMKTS:FWEDF) released initial results from its drilling program at the Macmillan Pass property that show potential to improve the current economics on the project. Assay results from the first five drill holes at the Tom North open pit target revealed 6.4% zinc and 0.7% lead over 9 metres in one hole and 6.2% zinc and 0.5% lead over 7.3 in another, indicating that Tom North has potential to be mined in an open pit scenario.

Nabis Holdings Inc (CSE:NAB) (OTC:NABIF), the cannabis investment group, said it had hired industry veteran Emmanuel Paul as a new independent director with effect from August 16 this year. He has consulted with multiple companies in the technology, real estate, manufacturing and medical cannabis space. "His industry expertise will provide an invaluable voice as we look toward our future expansion initiatives in both revenue-generating vertical cannabis operations, as well as strategic investments in technology that will continue to shape the industry," said Shay Shnet, the CEO and director of Nabis.

BevCanna Enterprises Inc (CSE:BEV) (OTCMKST:BVNNF) announced Tuesday that Health Canada has granted it a research license to examine stability and homogeneity of water-soluble cannabinoid infusions in water-based beverages. The license will enable BevCanna to move ahead with research activities that involve direct handling of cannabis such as the development of standard operating procedures, stability testing, sensory evaluation and quality assurance for house brands and white-label clients, the company said in a statement. The Vancouver-based company also will test cannabinoid-infusion equipment on their bottling line, as well as in a lab environment, optimizing their precise dosing technology as it scales-up towards full commercialization in 2020.

Empower Clinics Inc (CSE:CBDT) (OTCMKTS:EPWCF) started trading on the OTCQB Venture Market on Tuesday morning under the symbol ‘EPWCF.’ The Vancouver-based company is a vertically integrated cannabidiol (CBD) life sciences company and a multistate operator in the US. Shares of Empower began trading Tuesday at US$0.07 on OTC markets.

ElectraMeccanica Vehicles Corp (NASDAQ: SOLO) a designer and manufacturer of electric vehicles, announced Tuesday that David Neace has been tapped as director of sales. Neace will be based at the company’s flagship sales, service and distribution center in Los Angeles. He joins Vancouver-based Meccanica with over 20 years of expertise in sales management, with his most recent role as senior program manager at Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA), where he was key in creating the electric vehicle maker’s employee-delivery and factory-direct programs. 

Osino Resources Corp (CVE:OSI) updated investors Tuesday on the status of its drills turning in Namibia.
The junior explorer said it had completed the first phase of its 2019 drill program at the Karibib gold project and commenced a shallow program at the Etekero target on the Otjiwarongo regional project in the southern African country.

Globex Mining Enterprises Inc (TSE:GMX) (OTCMKTS:GLBXF) partner Chibougamau Independent Mines Inc (CVE:CBG) said Tuesday that it had ended the current drill program at its C-3 copper/gold discovery on the Bateman Bay property in Quebec but will resume again in the winter. The C-3 copper and gold property is part of Chibougamau's wholly owned Bateman Bay property, and results along with drilling to date show the zone is open in various directions. Globex, an exploration, royalty and property bank, holds a 3% gross metal royalty (GMR) on the Bateman Bay and Grandroy Mine properties.

In a statement, the biotech accelerator said this significantly advances its portfolio asset Uttroside-B, an investigational treatment for liver cancer which is in pre-clinical development. Bonterra Resources Inc (CVE:BTR) (OTCMKTS:BONXF) announced Tuesday that it has closed its C$32 million private placement to fund ongoing exploration and development at the company’s Quebec gold projects. The offering was backed by Sprott Capital Partners as lead agent in the financing.

Nano One Materials Corp (CVE:NNO) (OTCMKTS:NNOMF) announced an amendment to warrants issued in a private placement of September 2017, of 4.18 million shares with 2.09 million share purchase warrants attached. The new terms relate to 1.65 million warrants, which expire on September 8 this year. Holders will be entitled to receive one warrant upon the exercise of the warrant at the original exercise price of C$1.25 per share. The incentive warrant is exercisable into one further share at C$1.60 per share for 14 months ending August 23, 2019.

RYAH has made a major step towards the completion of its reverse takeover of Prime Blockchain Inc and its listing on the Canadian Stock Exchange after getting strong support for the deal from Prime shareholders at recent meetings. In a statement, Prime Blockchain said that at the meetings held on August 19, 2019, in Verdun, Quebec, 15,255,280 ballots were cast in person or by proxy representing 77.81% of the total number of shares issued and outstanding of the company in favour of the transaction.
