Carube Copper Corp (CVE:CUC) (OTCMKTS:CARCF) shares surged Tuesday as it revealed it had signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire private explorer Latin America Resource Group (LARG).  LARG’s biggest asset is the drill-ready Jasperoide copper-gold project in Peru’s Andahuaylas-Yauri belt, where it owns eight exploration concessions outright and earns a majority interest in five more for a total of  around 7,000 hectares.

Aequus Pharmaceuticals Inc (CSE:AQS) (OTCMKTS:) AQSZF) released second-quarter results on Tuesday, showing that it is seeing revenue growth once again.  Revenue for the quarter ended 30 June 2019 was C$397,263, compared to C$377,855  year earlier, the company said in a statement.  That was a 5% increase year-over year and a 20% jump from the first quarter of 2019 when the Vancouver-based company earned C$328,996 in revenue. 

Harvest One Cannabis Inc. (CVE:HVT) (OTCMKTS:HRVOF) has announced the appointment of Aaron Wong as its chief financial officer, with immediate effect, to lead the company's finance strategy and oversee its financial operations. The company said interim chief financial officer, Chris Podolsky will remain in an advisory capacity to the company for an appropriate period, to ensure a smooth CFO transition. The group pointed out that Wong has been with Harvest One since December 2017, serving as its corporate controller

Royal Road Minerals Limited (CVE:RYR) (OTCMKTS:RRDMF), a Toronto-based explorer, has acquired the remaining 2% interest in Minerales Camino Real SAS, making it a wholly owned subsidiary, the company announced Tuesday. Camino Real is a Colombian corporation with mineral exploration operations. Royal Road issued 1.2 million shares as payment for the stake.

alphaDIRECT Advisors has issued a report which focuses on Capstone Turbine Corporation (NASDAQ:CPST) and the opportunities and drivers for microgrid projects. alphaDIRECT concluded: “We believe that the growing interest in microgrids creates additional markets for Capstone’s long-term rental fleet, which should help the company improve its margins and reach its goal of a 10 MW rental fleet by early next year.”

NexTech AR Solutions Corp (OTCMKTS:NEXCF) (CSE:NTAR) announced a deal Tuesday with LAPoliceGear.com (LAPG), a military and tactical gear seller, to add augmented reality to its online shopping experience. The company will provide its AR e-commerce offering for a slate of nine initial products, which customers will be able to view in full 3D and even project into their own space before buying. LAPG was founded by police officers in 2001 and sells a variety of police, military, camping and other tactical clothing and gear.

American Manganese Inc (CVE:AMY) (OTCMKTS:AMYZF) has reported more positive results from its battery recycling pilot plant, where contractor Kemetco has now achieved 99.94% purity from the recovered NCA (nickel-cobalt-aluminum) cathode material. The material was tested in stages 3 and 4 of the RecycLiCo pilot plant project, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

Codebase Ventures Inc (CSE:CODE) (OTCMKTS:BKLLF) subsidiary Code Cannabis Investments is bringing its organic farming to upstate New York.  The company announced a deal Tuesday morning to acquire 45 acres of certified organic land in New Berlin, New York for US$125,000. The plan is to grow hemp to use for cannabidiol (CBD) extraction.

Lexaria Bioscience Corp (CSE:LXX) (OTCMKTS:LXRP) announced Tuesday that it has been granted a new patent in Australia to protect its proprietary drug delivery platform. The Kelowna, BC-based company is pioneering its DehydraTECH technology, which changes the way that active pharmaceutical ingredients enter the bloodstream to promote healthier methods of ingestion and increase overall effectiveness. The new patent covers ready-to-drink beverage compositions, a complement to its already-awarded patent for orally ingestible configurations.

MGX Minerals Inc (CSE:XMG) (OTCMKTS:MGXMF), the energy metals and materials group, told investors on Tuesday it was set for further exploration at the Driftwood Creek magnesium oxide project in British Columbia after receiving an up to 50-hole-drill permit. The aim of the program is to complete comprehensive infill and extension drilling at Driftwood as part of the larger, ongoing work program to prepare a pre-feasibility study (PFS).

Bragg Gaming Group (CVE:BRAG) (OTCMKTS:BRGGF) revealed Tuesday that the company’s flagship asset ORYX Gaming propelled second-quarter revenue to C$8.8 million in a sign of continuing growth. The company also said it was evaluating strategic alternatives, including a potential sale of its online media division GiveMeSport and UK-focused sportsbook GiveMeBet.

Chanticleer Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:BURG) announced Tuesday that it has entered into a non-binding letter of intent to sell its five Hooters locations in South Africa. The purchase price is $1,065,000, which is expected to result in net proceeds of about $360,000 for the Charlotte-based company, it said in a statement. Chanticleer’s net working capital is expected to improve by about $750,000 to $900,000 after the sale. However, the group will retain a 50% interest in the gambling portion of the South Africa Hooters business. The sale is expected to close by end-September.

Antibe Therapeutics Inc (CVE:ATE) (OTCMKTS:ATBPF) Tuesday provided an update on the Phase 2B study of its flagship drug ATB-346 to treat acute and chronic pain associated with osteoarthritis. “The clinical trial is proceeding well, and the company is pleased with the execution and quality of patient screening, which determines admittance into the study across the 35 clinical sites,’’ Antibe said in a statement.

Arctic Star Exploration Corp (CVE:ADD) (OTCMKTS:ASDZF) said it has discovered promising kimberlite signatures in the ground geophysical survey of its Stein diamond project in Nunavut, the most northerly territory of Canada. In a statement on Tuesday, the firm said a magnetic survey of the 1,065 square kilometer area on the Southern Boothia Peninsula outlined a series of possible targets with kimberlite-like signatures. In fact, the project presented all three of the magnetic signatures frequently representing the potentially diamond-containing rock.

Berkwood Resources Ltd (CVE:BKR) announced more positive news Tuesday as it revealed that testwork on its graphite concentrate from Lac Gueret South in Quebec had shown it could potentially be sold into a wide-range of markets. The material can be expanded, and the concentrate can easily be purified to 99.95%, the Vancouver based firm told investors in a statement.

Neo Lithium Corp (CVE:NLC) (OTCMKTS:NTTHF), the Argentinean-focused lithium explorer, informed shareholders on Tuesday that the company’s executive team met with one of Argentina’s leading presidential candidates earlier in the week. DRDGOLD Limited (NYSE: DRD), the Johannesburg and New York-listed South African gold producer, expects to report strong growth in full-year 2018/19 earnings and revenue boosted by a higher average price for the precious metal.  In a trading statement released ahead of the full results – due on Tuesday, 3 September – DRDGOLD said it expects to report earnings per share of between 11.65 rand cents ($0.76)  and 11.95 rand cents ($0.78) for the financial year ended 30 June 2019, compared to 1.5 rand cents for full year 2017/18.

MGX Renewables Inc (CSE:MGXR) announced Tuesday that it has arranged a non-brokered private placement for proceeds of up to $500,000. The private placement will consist of up to 8,333,334 units at a price of $0.06 per share. Each unit consists of a share and one transferable share purchase warrant. The warrants are exercisable for a period of two years at a price of $0.08 in the first year from the date of issuance and at a price of $0.12 for the balance of the term.

Metalla Royalty & Streaming Ltd. (CVE:MTA) (OTCMKTS:MTAFF) said that its board of directors has approved and declared a monthly cash dividend payment of C$0.001 per share for September, October and November on its common shares (subject to any applicable tax withholding obligations).
