GSRX Industries Inc (OTCMKTS:GSRX), which is now a subsidiary of Chemesis International Inc. (CSE:CSI) and (OTCMKTS:CADMF), took in its most year-over-year quarterly revenue to date in its second quarter. In a statement, Chemesis - which completed its acquisition of a majority holding in GSRX at the end of August - said GSRX earned nearly $3.5 million in revenue in its second quarter, compared to just $353.430 in the year-ago quarter. 

Security Devices International Inc (CSE:SDZ) (OTCMKTS:SDEV) announced Friday that it will make its Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series debut as the co-primary sponsor of Rick Ware Racing at the Federated Auto Parts 400 stock car race on September 21, at the Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Virginia. The company said the widely viewed race will be broadcast on Saturday at 7.30 pm ET on NBCSN with a radio broadcast on MRN radio. The Wakefield, Massachusetts-based company said in a statement that it will display Byrna HD products at Booth No. 42 in the Richmond Raceway.

Thunderbird Entertainment Group Inc (CVE:TBRD), the Vancouver-headquartered multi-platform entertainment group, said its kids and family division Atomic Cartoons has struck a deal with Cyber Group Studios and Outright Games to produce a 'The Last Kids on Earth' video game. The intellectual property for the book series by Max Brallier was optioned by Thunderbird's kids and family subsidiary two years ago and mega streaming giant Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) acquired the worldwide rights to the TV series in 2018.

MGX Minerals Inc (CSE:XMG) (OTCMKTS:MGXMF) has entered the world of vanadium redox batteries as it announced a new joint venture deal on Friday. The Vancouver-based energy metals and materials group said it had signed a letter of intent (LOI) with DST Co Ltd - a publicly-traded company, which is listed on the KOSDAQ in South Korea - to form a new venture. The aim of the partnership is to advance a sedimentary-bearing vanadium deposit in South Korea and develop a manufacturing facility for vanadium redox flow batteries and energy storage systems, MGX said.

Phunware, Inc. (NASDAQ:PHUN), a fully-integrated enterprise cloud platform for mobile that provides products, solutions, data and services for brands worldwide, has released a recap of the presentation given by its chief operating officer Randall Crowder at this year’s Fall Investor Summit on September 16th at the Essex House in New York City. The presentation detailed Phunware’s journey since its inception in 2009 to going public in December 2018.  Crowder said: “Solving the engagement problem is where Phunware shines. MGX Renewables Inc (CSE:MGXR) (OTCMKTS:MGXRF) has changed its name to Zinc8 Energy Solutions and brought on a new head man to take the company forward. In a statement late Thursday, the company said Zinc8 better highlights the company’s signature Zinc-Air energy storage system, which offers — you guessed it — eight hours of energy storage. The company will make the change official and update its stock ticker in the coming weeks.  The new leader to pair with the new name is former politician and energy industry veteran Ron MacDonald, who is taking on the roles of president and CEO. He brings more than 35 years' experience from both the private and public sector.

BevCanna Enterprises Inc (CSE:BEV) (OTCMKTS:BVNNF) announced Friday that its chief commercialization officer Emma Andrews will discuss the company’s insights into the infused-cannabis beverage market at a major conference next week. Andrews will be featured at the upcoming Extraordinary Future Conference, which will be held September 22-23 at the Vancouver Convention Center West. 

Maxtech Ventures Inc (CSE:MVT) (OTCMKTS:MTEHF), the mining exploration group, said Friday it has closed the first tranche of its non-brokered private placing, issuing 3.2 million units at C$0.05 for total gross proceeds of C$160,000. Each unit comprised one company share and one share purchase warrant, which entitles the holder to buy a share at C$0.10 for one year from closing and is subject to an acceleration clause. Maxtech also said Friday that, pending Canadian Securities Exchange approval, it has extended the term on 600,000 outstanding warrants, which were previously issued to two third party investors exercisable at C$0.30 by a year to September 22, 2020, from September 22, 2019.

American Battery Metals Corporation (OTCMKTS:ABML), a premier battery metal exploration and development company based in Nevada, has announced its participation at the 2019 C3 US-Arab Healthcare and Business Summit at the Union League Club on Monday, September 23.

HighGold Mining Inc (CVE:HIGH), the spin-out from Constantine Metal Resources Ltd (CVE:CEM), will begin trading on the TSX Venture Exchange on Monday, September 23. Prior to and in connection with the listing, the firm has completed a non-brokered private placement of 17 million units at C$0.45 each for aggregate proceeds of C$7.65 million. Each unit consists of one company share and one-half of one share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant is exercisable to buy one share at C$0.70 for two years from the date of issue. Closing of the concurrent financing occurred on September 19, 2019.
