Mandalay Resources Corporation (TSE:MND) (OTCMKTS:MNDJF) on Monday said its drilling programs have continued to yield encouraging results at both its Costerfield operation in Victoria, Australia and its Björkdal operations Sweden. The Canadian-based natural resources company also said it has been pleased with additional diamond drilling results from both operations since June.

Acasti Pharma Inc (NASDAQ:ACST) (CVE:ACST) is on track to report topline results from two Phase 3 trials of its lead drug candidate in December 2019 and January 2020. The company is undergoing trials of its lead drug candidate CaPre, an omega-3 phospholipid derived from krill oil used to treat severe hypertriglyceridemia. The trials, TRILOGY 1 and TRILOGY 2, have achieved the necessary milestones to give Chief Operating and Chief Science Officer Pierre Lemieux confidence that topline results will arrive on schedule.

EnWave Corporation (CVE:ENW) (OTCMKTS:NWVCF) on Monday provided an update on the commercialization efforts of Bonduelle Group, a long-time royalty partner. The Canadian company said it is committed to working with Bonduelle, given some recent developments.  Bonduelle introduced its InFlavor brand of premium frozen vegetables to many food service clients in early 2019, and EnWave had previously agreed to extend Bonduelle’s exclusivity period to use its Radiant Energy Vacuum technology for the production of dehydrofrozen vegetables in North America until September 30.  This extension included a requirement to purchase a commercial-scale 400kW REV machine prior to that date.

NetCents Technology Inc (CSE:NC) (OTCMKTS:NTTCF) nudged higher on Monday as the company revealed third quarter numbers which underscored the traction the digital payments provider is gaining. NetCents, which offers products and services that allow businesses to accept cryptocurrency payments from customers by providing them with instant settlements, saw its net loss fall thanks to an increase in transactions and a reduction in operating costs, putting the firm in a strong position going forward.

GlobeX Data Ltd (CSE:SWIS) told investors Monday that it is on track to complete training of sales employees and distributors at Telcel in Mexico City, a division of the global telecoms giant America Movil, by the end of October. The Vancouver-based data security company also said that it has held high-level discussions with Telcel’s senior executives and initiated the approval of sales quotas on Telcel’s Region 9 corporate department, which comprises over 21 million people throughout greater Mexico City.

LiteLink Technologies Inc (CSE:LLT) (OTCMKTS:LLNKF) told shareholders Monday that its subsidiary uBUCK Technologies SEZC closed the first tranche of a private placement worth US$400,000. The fintech company issued 800,000 shares at US$0.50 per share. Under the terms of the investment, uBUCK expects a minimum investment of US$1,500,000 will be made in exchange for 3,000,000 preferred shares at a price of US$0.50 per share by June 30, 2020. uBUCK said it plans to use the funds to complete the development of the uBUCK and Streambucks digital wallets, accelerate growth, increase customer acquisitions, and conduct additional product testing.

CytoDyn Inc (OTCMKTS:CYDY) said its metastatic triple-negative breast cancer treatment, leronlimab, has been given to the first patient of a new Phase 1b/2 clinical trial. The results of the trial will determine the company’s regulatory fate, particularly whether it will seek Breakthrough Therapy Designation and accelerated approval with the US Food and Drug Administration, CytoDyn said in a statement on Saturday. In the now underway clinical trial, circulating tumor cells will be evaluated in each patient every three weeks.

Nerds On Site Inc (CSE:NERD) (OTCMKTS:NOSUF) announced Monday that it has thwarted a ransomware attack on a multinational company. In a statement, CEO Charles Regan said Nerds On Site’s cyber-security services were able to eradicate the full-scale attack, saving the targeted company $600,000 and protecting it going forward as a new client.

Auryn Resources Inc (TSE:AUG) (NYSEAMERICAN:AUG) has unveiled encouraging rock sampling results from its Sombrero copper-gold project in southern Peru on Monday, including an assay of up to 981 grams per ton (g/t) silver. It came from the firm's first exploration at the newly discovered Ccello project, which is a 2 km by 1.5 km high sulphidation alteration system. Other highlight results included 72.1 g/t of silver, 64.4 g/t silver and 40.6 g/t, the Canada and Peru-focused exploration group said in a statement.

1933 Industries Inc (CSE:TGIF) (OTCMKTS:TGIFF) has commenced the flowering cycle of its cannabis plants at its new indoor cultivation facility in Las Vegas. The plants were transferred to the facility in August, where they completed a vegetative stage for four weeks. This week, three rooms of plants will begin the flowering cycle, which lasts about eight weeks.

Nano One Materials Corp (CVE:NNO) (OTCMKTS:NNOMF) has received its final payment of nearly C$1.2 million from Sustainable Development Technology Canada for its lithium ion battery cathode materials projects. The funds will go towards supporting the Vancouver-based clean technology company’s Demonstration Pilot Plant project and the recently launched Scaling Advanced Battery Materials project. Nano One told shareholders on Monday that it has satisfied all commitments and reporting requirements on the Demonstration Pilot Plant project, which was completed in March.

Capstone Turbine Corporation (NASDAQ:CPST) announced Monday that a client in Colombia has agreed to a 10-year Factory Protection Plan.  The long-term service contract sold by Supernova, Capstone's exclusive distributor for Colombia and Venezuela, covers 1 megawatt of its clean-energy microturbines. In addition, the company said in a statement that its fleet of microturbines has exceeded 1 million successful hours of operation in Colombia.

ImmunoPrecise Antibodies Ltd (CVE:IPA) (OTCMKTS:IPATF), the antibody discovery specialist, continues to invest in R&D (research and development) to expand and enhance the value of its intellectual property  assets, it told investors. In the first quarter, ImmunoPrecise, based in Victoria, British Columbia, posted a net loss of C$2,012,198 up from a net loss of $1,102,362 for the same period of fiscal 2018. The company put the increase down to efforts to broaden the breadth and value of its IP assets in techniques inherent in the production of human antibodies through new working partnerships with several companies and lower gross profit and higher expenses. Monday's statement also revealed the firm had signed extension agreements with holders of its September 2018, C$2.75 million debenture to extend the maturity date until March 26 next year, and add a further 2.5% interest payment on its ongoing 10% rate.

Great Bear Resources Ltd (CVE:GBR) reported yet more encouraging drill assays from its ongoing work at the exciting Dixie project in Red Lake, Ontario, where it believes it has hit upon a continuous mineralized system spanning kilometres remaining open along strike and at depth. Around 28,000 metres (m) of drilling remain to be completed in the ongoing 90,000 metres program, the company revealed, adding that it had sunk 14 drill fences spaced from 50 to 800 metres apart, along 3.2 km of the LP Fault. "We will continue to utilize sub-zone names such as Bear-Rimini, Yuma and Auro for geographic reference, however it now appears these are portions of a continuous mineralized system spanning kilometres of strike length which remains open along strike and at depth," the company told investors.

Gevo, Inc. (NASDAQ:GEVO) has announced that Biofuels Digest has named the company on its NEXT 50 list of “the Next 50 Companies to Disrupt the World.” The group said the honor was specifically given for Gevo’s partnership with Renmatix and their work to pioneer additional fuel pathways by introducing innovative cellulosic feedstock such as wood, agricultural residues, or other cellulosic raw materials to cellulosic-based sugars, the basic building blocks of sustainable fuels. The company also pointed out that its chief executive officer, Patrick Gruber will be on stage as well as attending the Advanced Bioeconomy Leadership Conference on NextGen Technologies, ABLC NEXT, being held in San Francisco, California October 30-November 1. The NEXT 50 list includes companies focused on fuels, chemicals, foods, new crops and crop protection, animal feeds, and synthetic biology-based services.

Fura Gems Inc (CVE:FURA)(OTCMKTS:FUGMF), the gemstone mining and marketing group, announced Monday that it has again extended the deadline for its purchase of three ruby assets in Mozambique. The company said it provided notice to New Energy Minerals Ltd (formerly Mustang Resources), which owns the ruby licenses, that it would push back the so-called ‘drop dead’ date of the Merger of Ruby Assets Agreement from September 30 to October 31 this year. Fura owns a 76% stake in the Coscuez emerald mine in Boyaca, Colombia.

PyroGenesis Canada Inc (CVE:PYR) (OTCMKTS:PYRNF) announced Sunday that it is restructuring its board of directors, adding two new members to the technology company’s team. The Montreal-based company is welcoming Dr Virendra Jha and Michael Blank to the board following the resignation of Alan Curleigh and Dr Christopher Twigge-Molecey.

Kincora Copper Ltd (CVE:KCC) said Monday it will issue 271,875 shares at a C$0.08 each to certain directors, officers and service providers for services rendered during the period from January 1 to March 31 this year. In addition, the Mongolia-focused copper explorer will issue 197,727 shares at C$0.11 to certain directors, officers and service providers for services rendered during the period from April 1 to June 20 this year. The share issue is  subject to a number of conditions, including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Silvercorp Metals Inc (TSE:SVM) (NYSEAMERICAN:SVM) announced after the bell Monday that all matters at its September 27 annual general meeting were approved by its shareholders. The shareholders elected directors Rui Feng, Paul Simpson, David Kong, Yikang Liu and Marina Katusa to the board and approved the reappointment of Deloitte LLP as auditors of the company for the next year. They also approved the group’s share-based compensation plan.

MjLink.com Inc, a subsidiary of Social Life Network Inc (OTCMKTS:WDLF), announced that EXMceuticals Inc (CSE:EXM) will be a Featured Presenter at its upcoming MjMicro Conference. EXMceuticals  chairman Jonathan Summers will update investors and analysts about the wholesale cannabis company’s recent developments, which include establishing operations in Africa. CEO Danny Dalla-Longa will discuss the company’s latest developments, including its CompleTest kits, which can identify and quantify the organic and inorganic compounds in a given cannabis sample. The MjMicro Conference will be held October 16th at the Sofitel Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Hillcrest Petroleum Ltd (CVE:HRH) (OTCMKTS:HLRTF) is set to amend 4,190,600 share purchase warrants and 4.65 million stock options to have their exercise price reduced to C$0.05 per share, it said on Monday.  The other terms of the warrants and options will remain unchanged. The change is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. The oil firm will seek disinterested shareholder approval at the next AGM for the repricing of 2.6 million of the stock options, which have been granted to insiders of the company, it added.
