Pollitt, the company’s agent in the deal, will receive cash equal to 6% of the gross proceeds and Royal Road will issue it warrants to buy shares equal to 6% of shares issued in the placement.
Canadian junior New Pacific Metals Corp (CVE:NUAG) (OTCMKTS:NUMPF) announced Wednesday that it turned a nearly C$1.9 million profit in its third quarter as the exploration and development company advances its Bolivian Silver Sands project. The figure is a sharp swing from the same period a year prior that saw the Vancouver-based company post a loss of C$753,000. New Pacific told shareholders that the results were mainly impacted by nearly C$2.1 million in income from investments.

In a concurrent private placement, Genprex will issue investors in the registered direct offering unregistered warrants to purchase up to 3,167,986 shares. Joseph Gunnar & Co is the exclusive placement agent. The warrants will be exercisable six months from the issuance date, and have an exercise price of $0.46 per share, and will expire five years from such date. The warrants will be exercisable for shares of common stock purchased by investors in the registered direct offering. The closing of the offering is expected around November 25.

Phunware Inc (NASDAQ:PHUN) has released an expansion to the sample code of its Location Based Services module, allowing for the implementation of new features using the company’s Location and Mapping Software Development Kits. The new sample code features include walk time calculations, which estimates the approximate walking time of a route and generates an estimated arrival time; voice prompts, which configures app to voice commands through a smartphone speaker or headphones; and off-route alerts, which prompt users when they go off course and prompt them to get back on track.

Exactus Inc (OTCQB:EXDI) and Canntab Therapeutics Limited (CSE:PILL) (OTCMKTS:CTABF) are teaming up to produce and sell immediate- and extended-release hemp-derived cannabinoid tablets. Canntab will manufacture its hard pill formulations (made from CBD and other hemp derivatives) in a Florida facility operated by Exactus, using equipment supplied by Canntab. Manufacturing is expected to begin near the end of first quarter of 2020. The hard-pill formulations will include a variety of hemp-derived cannabinoids for precise delivery in instant release, extended release and oral disintegrating tablet solutions to be distributed throughout the US. The agreement unlocks a distribution channel to an estimated at $2 billion-plus in the US CBD market.
Q BioMed Inc (OTCMKTS:QBIO) announced Wednesday that the US Food and Drug Administration has cleared its contract manufacturer IsoTherapeutics Group LLC to produce the company’s non-opioid cancer bone pain drug Strontium-89 Chloride USP. The long-awaited approval of the facility means that this important oncologic pain drug will soon be available to patients in the US and the rest of the world, according to a statement. Q BioMed is now the only FDA-approved source for this drug in the western world. The company meanwhile is activating its planned commercial operations to support marketing, sales, and distribution in the US and, soon, in the rest of the world. Strontium-89 is a non-opioid radiopharmaceutical indicated for the treatment of painful skeletal metastases caused by cancer.
MegumaGold Corp (CSE:NSAU) reported encouraging initial soil survey results from its Touquoy West project in Nova Scotia, which lies around 4 km from St Barbara Ltd's (ASX:SBM) Touquoy gold mine in the Canadian province. A total of 1,062 samples were collected during September and October this year and submitted for gold and multi-element analysis, the company said in a statement. The work shows that two large geochemical anomalies are present, both of which are supported by low-level, anomalous gold and lie on what's called the Moose River anticline which plays host to the Touquoy deposit.

Diamond explorer Arctic Star Exploration Corp (CVE:ADD) (OTCMKTS:ASDZF) is set to bring in up to C$1.3 million gross through a private placing. The funds raised will be used for general working capital, to explore existing properties and potential future acquisitions, the company told investors. The firm will issue units at five Canadian cents each on a 1:5 post-consolidated basis, it said. Each unit consists of one share and one share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant exercisable into one share for 15 Canadian cents for two years from closing.
Redfund Capital Corp announced Wednesday it had signed a letter of intent to acquire Florida-based Sunshine State Tea Company, part of an effort to develop CBD-infused tea brands. Redfund’s CEO Meris Kott told shareholders that the deal will give the investment company a path to its first direct revenue stream in the CBD-infused beverage market.
“We will continue to expand our reach into profitable revenue streams as the CBD market expands and is given more exposure promoting its health and wellness benefits,” Kott said in a statement.
Exactus Inc (OTCMKTS:EXDI) announced that it has entered into a supply and distribution agreement to provide Ceed2Med a minimum of 10,000 lbs of 2019 harvested flower. According to a statement, the hemp harvest will come from Exactus’ 200-acre farm in Southwest Oregon. Ceed2Med, in turn, will complete the conditioning, trimming and packaging of the product as per current wholesale market needs and distribute it to its clients at a higher profitability point, sharing Exactus in the upside of the operation.
Helix TCS Inc (OTCMKTS:HLIX), a technology group which provides the cannabis industry with a powerful operating services platform, said that it has launched the first integrated hemp tracking module. Seelos Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:SEEL) said Wednesday that it has started dosing the first subjects in a Phase I drug-drug interaction (DDI) study to show that its SLS-002 intranasal ketamine depression drug can be safely administered with two commonly prescribed antidepressants. The study plans to enroll 48 healthy volunteers, studied over 14 days, randomized into two treatment arms and dosed with a combination of SLS-002 and either, venlafaxine ER or sertraline. “The initiation of the DDI study will be closely followed by an additional Phase I study measuring pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamics, and safety of multiple, repeated, single doses of SLS-002 as well as IV ketamine,” said Seelos Therapeutics CEO Raj Mehra.
