Phunware Inc (NASDAQ:PHUN) announced Thursday it has added a top-rated US cancer hospital as a new customer for its mobile digital front door solution. Phunware’s Multiscreen-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform helps patients and clinicians demystify the healthcare journey for both families and staff. PyroGenesis Canada Inc (CVE:PYR) (OTCMKTS:PYRNF) launched a new, updated website on Thursday to include new features and improved functionality, the company said in a release. The plasma powder manufacturer’s new website will be continuously updated with business developments, events, company presentations, media mentions and press releases, the company said in a release. "We are happy to unveil our redesigned website which offers a clean and modern design providing a more comprehensive understanding of PyroGenesis’ technologies," said Peter Pascali, CEO of PyroGenesis. "We believe that this website will allow our visitors to have a very informative experience as we continue to grow and increase our market presence. I trust the timing of this news release is not lost on our readers.”

Global Energy Metals Corporation (CVE:GEMC) (OTCMKTS:GBLEF) announced that the company has signed a letter of intent to sell a royalty from multiple projects in exchange for cash and stocks from Electric Royalties Ltd. The royalties come from the Vancouver-based company’s Millennium Cobalt Project, Mount Dorothy Cobalt Project and Cobalt Ridge Project located in Queensland, Australia. Under the terms of the LOI, in exchange for a 0.5% royalty on the Millennium and Mount Isa projects, Electric Royalties will issue Global Energy Metals 1.15 million shares and pay $150,000 in cash.

Tinka Resources Limited (CVE:TK) (OCTMKTS:TKRFF) says 199,966,565 common shares were represented in person or by proxy at its annual general meeting on Thursday, representing 58.69% of the votes attached to all outstanding shares. Shareholders voted in favour of fixing the size of the board to six, ratifying the company's 10% rolling stock option plan and appointing D&H Group LLP as auditors. Existing directors, Graham Carman, Nick DeMare, Ben McKeown, Pieter Britz and Mary Little, were re-elected. Raul Benavides, vice president of corporate development with Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA, also was elected to serve on the board.

Media Central Corporation Inc (CSE:FLYY) is bringing NOW Magazine back to millions of Toronto’s transit users. The publishing house said Thursday that it agreed with Gateway Direct Media, a major North American newsstand retailer, to distribute 15,000 copies of NOW’s weekly paper at 75 locations in Toronto’s city and regional transit network. The first issues will be distributed to commuters on March 12.

Pacton Gold Inc (CVE:PAC) (OTCMKTS:PACXF), an explorer focused on assets in Pilbara, western Australia and Red Lake, Ontario, will be at this year's PDAC 2020 convention in Toronto, Canada between March 1 and 4 at booth 2816.

A major purpose of the UST Demo Lab is to showcase the ability of the company's revolutionary UST Platform to process CBD oil into true, high quality, water-soluble nanoemulsions, according to a statement. It is expected that nanoemulsions of CBD will be more stable, have superior aesthetic quality, and offer higher bioavailability than the standard macro/microemulsions used in most CBD products today.

Gevo Inc (NASDAQ:GEVO) announced Thursday it has been awarded part of The Queensland Waste to Biofutures (W2B) Fund to support the development of waste-to-biofutures projects in Australia’s second-largest state. The fund backs pilot, demonstration or commercially scalable biorefinery projects in Queensland that use conventional waste streams or biomass to produce bioenergy, biofuels and high-value bioproducts. “We are thrilled to be awarded funding from W2B, which will allow us to further our assessment of a contemplated second-generation (2G) feedstock to biofuel project in Queensland, said Gevo CEO Patrick Gruber. “This opportunity opens the door for the development of a project that not only supplies low carbon gasoline to Queensland, but also the possibility to supply commercial quantities of 2G sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to the Brisbane Airport, expanding upon our demonstrations of SAF supply to commercial airlines like those conducted with Virgin Australia over the last several months.”

ElectraMeccanica Vehicles Corporation (NASDAQ:SOLO), an electric vehicle manufacturer, has hired BDO USA’s Site Selection & Business Incentives Practice to lead its search for an assembly and engineering technical facility in the US. BDO has selected seven states - Arizona, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas - as finalists and sent initial proposals to each state’s chief economic development entity. The leading location, as well as a backup option, are expected to be announced in the third quarter, the company said. 

Cabral Gold Inc (CVE:CBR) reported new results Thursday from exploration work on its promising Alonso target on the Cuiú Cuiú gold property in Brazil. The Vancouver-based exploration firm said that 24 samples from a group of boulders at Alonso held gold values ranging from 11.6 grams per ton (g/t) to 200.3 g/t gold for an average grade of 91.7 g/t gold. Cabral’s work at Alonso continues to expand the footprint of the anomaly with highly elevated gold counts in panned stream sediments further to the west and south of the original showing, CEO Alan Carter said in a statement.

Nextleaf Solutions Ltd (CSE:OILS) (OTCMKTS:OILFF) revealed it had bolstered its IP (intellectual property) with a new patent covering a cannabinoid-derived prodrug, which could have unique medicinal benefits. The US Patent and Trademark Office has awarded the firm a patent for a process called the acetylation of cannabinoids. "Nextleaf's patented process produces THC-O-Acetate, a cannabinoid-derived metabolic prodrug with potentially very unique medicinal benefits associated with efficient and targeted drug delivery," said Ryan Ko, the group's chief technology officer.

AgraFlora Organics International Inc (CSE:AGRA) (OCTMKTS:AGFAF), a diversified international cannabis company, said that it had engaged seasoned cannabis industry executive John Fowler to drive asset commercialization and shareholder value creation. Fowler and his team will help AgraFlora’s management in identifying, evaluating and executing on “accretive corporate opportunities,” including “potential acquisitions, dispositions or new revenue channels” in domestic and international markets, said the company. Fowler and Blaise Ventures have been focused on driving forward the licensing and commercialization of Propagation Services Canada, and Edibles & Infusions Corporation. Working directly with Health Canada, AgraFlora expects its facilities to be licensed, operationalized and revenue-generating before the end of 2020.

Arcadia Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:RKDA) has been awarded a patent for a yield-improving allele for high fiber, resistant starch wheat from the US Patent and Trademark Office. The allele, essentially an alternative form of a particular gene, represents the latest patent in Arcadia’s GoodWheat portfolio of non-GMO wheat varieties. It was developed using the company’s proprietary technology platform, ArcaTech. Through multi-year field studies, Arcadia discovered that wheat carrying the allele produced yields 6% to 9% greater on average, with some yields as much as 30% greater.

American Battery Metals Corporation (OTCMKTS:ABML) says the US can balance its need for critical mineral resource and renewable energy projects while protecting the environment. "The United States must take a forward-thinking, measured approach as the country seeks to break its reliance on foreign sources of critical minerals,” said Doug Nickle, the company’s head of business development and government affairs, in a statement Thursday. “Smart, sustainable mining practices are not mutually exclusive to wise conservation policies. At American Battery Metals Corporation, we are committed to environmentally friendly resource production and extraction of the critical metals that are necessary to fuel the energy transition to electric vehicles. Sustainability guides us in everything we do.” Nickle’s comments were prompted by the recent Democratic presidential debate in Nevada on February 19 in which the issue of renewable energy versus conservation was raised. 

Co-Diagnostics Inc (NASDAQ:CODX) announced Thursday a financing plan expected to raise about $4.2 million as it sells its coronavirus detection tests. Under the registered direct offering priced at-the-market under Nasdaq rules, the company has struck agreements with institutional investors to purchase 470,000 shares of its common stock at $9 per share. It’s expected to close on March 2.

NetCents Technology Inc (CSE:NC) (OTCMKTS:NTTCF), a disruptive cryptocurrency transaction solutions company, said Thursday that it is expanding its global presence with a defined growth plan for its operations in the European Market. The company’s goal is to provide banks with the technology to bring cryptocurrencies into mainstream finance in an efficient way.

Next Green Wave Holdings Inc (CSE:NGW) (OTCMKTS:NXGWF) told investors on Thursday it was expecting a number of catalysts to carry it into profitability this year as it posted a corporate update. The Coalinga, California-based group is a vertically integrated cannabis firm and is also focused on increasing revenue, it added.

Osino Resources Corp (CSE:OSI) outlined its plans for 2020 after management recently approved the work program and budget, which is expected to see C$7.8 million spent during the year, 80% of which will be on exploration in Namibia. The group revealed it had raised C$14 million gross last month after closing an oversubscribed offering.

Mota Ventures Corp (CSE:MOTA) (OTCMKTS:PEMTF) said Wednesday that it signed a letter of intent with Stillcanna Inc (CSE:STIL) (OTC:SCNNF) to acquire Stillcanna’s outstanding share capital. It’s a strategic merger as Mota is a CBD product marketing company with online retail brands in the US and Europe, while vertically-integrated Stillcanna focuses on large-scale CBD oil extraction and serves customers in Europe.

Carube Copper Corp (CVE:CUC) (OTCMKTS:CARCF) revealed Thursday it had now completed the previously announced acquisition of Latin America Resource Group (LARG), announced a new appointment to the Carube board and said CEO Stephen Hughes was to take temporary medical leave. The LARG transaction was first reported last August. The private firm's main asset is the 5,696-hectare Jasperoide copper-gold project, where due diligence by Carube has identified the potential for porphyry-style copper-gold mineralization.

NexTech AR Solutions Corp (OTCMKTS:NEXCF) (CSE:NTAR) announced four new WebAR e-commerce customers that will utilize the company’s CaptureAR augmented reality creation technology. NexTech expects to launch its CaptureAR app, which allows users to create 3D AR assets using a smartphone, within the next 30 days. Once launched, the company said, the app will be a strong revenue generator among its AR offerings.

RNC Minerals (TSE:RNX) said Thursday that exploration at a series of prospects on its Higginsville operation have returned high-grade results and visible gold. The Toronto-based company discovered the visible gold in a surface sample taken from the Hidden Secret project on the Western Australian property. As well, high-grade drill intersections were uncovered at the Corona deposit as part of RNC’s ongoing review of the historic drilling database at Higginsville. 

Fidelity Minerals Corp. (CVE:FMN) has closed the transaction, announced on February 13, 2020, regarding a debt settlement agreement with a creditor under which the company has agreed to pay A$20,000 in cash and issue an aggregate of 300,000 common shares in order to settle certain obligations of the company totalling A$100,000. The company said it has decided to satisfy this outstanding indebtedness with shares in order to preserve its cash for operations. It noted that the share issuance was approved by the TSX Venture Exchange on February 25, 2020.

Ximen Mining Corp (CVE:XIM) said the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for expedited filing documentation relating to its agreement, dated January 24, 2020, with John Bakus, under which the company has the option to acquire a 100% interest in the California mineral claim and the Camp McKinney claim located in Southern British Columbia. The consideration is $30,000 and 111,111 shares.
