Blockchain Holdings Ltd (CSE:BCX) announced Thursday that former SAP, Taleo and Monster.com executive Gordon Zeilstra has been appointed as chief revenue officer or its subsidiary TraceSafe Technologies Inc.
Zeilstra has over 25 years of experience with startup technology firms and assisted companies in building international profiles as well as sales pipelines.
The new TraceSafe executive will be tasked with establishing and scaling the technology company’s global sales team and maintain relationships with government and private enterprises around the world.
Zeilstra’s decades of experience will be beneficial for TraceSafe, which markets a suite of real-time location management services and contact tracing solutions. The hardware and software is currently being deployed in a number of countries as a quarantine management tool, helping governments to contain the coronavirus outbreak.
TraceSafe CEO Dennis Kwan told shareholders that the firm was “thrilled” to bring Zeilstra onboard, saying in a statement that the new executive record “speaks for itself.”
“Mr Zeilstra brings a wealth of experience from his years of profitable fiscal management,” Kwan said in a statement.
"We are lucky to have him at the helm as TraceSafe's Chief Revenue Officer. With Gord as our CRO, we will continue to move TraceSafe toward a safer and more profitable future."
