Pacific Empire Minerals Corporation (TSX-V:PEMC, OTCQB:PEMSF) said it had engaged a geophysics company for a planned airborne survey on two of its properties in the South Hogem Copper-Gold Belt.

The company has contracted Expert Geophysics Ltd to conduct an airborne Mobile MagnetoTelluric (MT) survey at its Trident and Pinnacle copper-gold projects, according to a release from Pacific Empire.

The MT survey method is known for its ability to detect basement electromagnetic (EM) conductors and anomalous resistivity zones, key indicators of potential copper-gold porphyry systems.

Pacific Empire’s planned survey covers 164 line-kilometers, focusing on the primary target area at Trident, where historical assays have shown promising results.

Pacific Empire Minerals Corporation (TSX-V:PEMC, OTCQB:PEMSF) announced on Friday that it has appointed Chris Tucker to its board of directors, effective immediately.

The company said Tucker brings more than a decade of experience working across the mining industry in project finance, risk management, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and reporting.

Pacific Empire Minerals Corporation (TSX-V:PEMC, OTCQB:PEMSF) said it anticipates it will be able to recommence exploration activities soon at its Trident project in British Columbia which were put on hold during July and August to ensure the safety of employees and contractors amid the ongoing forest fires in the province.

The company said that rain over the past two weeks appears to have been successful in dampening fire activity in the area and it expects it will be safe to conduct exploration activities shortly at Trident.
