Buds & Duds: Aphria nudges higher as it begins trading on the Nasdaq, CannTrust down 4%

The North American Marijuana index nudged up slightly today to hit 108 points.

Buds today included Aphria Inc. (TSX: APHA) (NASDAQ: APHA) who's shares bumped up as it began trading on the Nasdaq. The Leamington, Ontario-based firm is focused on low-cost production of high-quality cannabis at scale. 

The duds today were CannTrust Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CTST) (TSE:TRST), down 4%. Last week the firm announced Health Canada had reinstated the license for its Fenwick, Ontario-based cannabis production facility.
