Hochschild Mining halts operations at Inmaculada due to coronavirus outbreak

Hochschild Mining Plc -

Hochschild Mining Plc (LON:HOC) has halted operations at its Inmaculada silver mine in Peru, after a number of workers there tested positive for coronavirus.

Inmaculada will now operate with a reduced workforce running care and maintenance activities at the site. Hochschild expects to resume operations as soon as a safe and healthy workforce can return to site.

The Pallancata mine in Peru and the San Jose mine in Argentina currently remain in operation.
