Mota Ventures Corp (CSE:MOTA) (OTCPINK:PEMTF) (FSE:1WZ1) revealed on Friday that it its US-based Nature's Exclusive brand acquired 102,844 new customers during the six-month period ended June 30, 2020.

The Vancouver-based eCommerce-focused company said the new customer acquisitions during the first half of the year represented “an all-time high” for new customer acquisitions within any six-month window for the brand.

Mota said the “record number” of new customers can be chalked up to three reasons: increased marketing for its Nature's Exclusive brand, successful scaling of the company's supply chain, and an ability to respond to demand in the pandemic through the introduction of new, relevant products.

In the US, Mota offers a CBD hemp-oil product line derived from hemp grown and formulated in America through its Nature's Exclusive brand. The brand offers a range of products, which include CBD oil drops, CBD gummies, CBD pain relief cream, CDB skin serum and CBD coffee.

In a statement, Mota CEO Ryan Hoggan said: "With 2020 presenting so many uncertainties, including on a global economic front, I am very pleased with the company's 2020 performance to date. Mota, and its Nature's Exclusive brand are illustrating their resilience and relevance.”

He added: “In the first half of this year, not only have we reached a record number of new customers, at over 100,000, we also reached and released record sales revenues of $5.1 million, for the month of May, alone.”

The Mota boss viewed the progress as “reassuring indicators” that Mota and Nature's Exclusive were sparking brand recognition, high demand and should stay the course.

“We are increasingly confident that our continued focus on growth in the US and expansion in Europe will prove successful and continue to create value for our shareholders and stakeholders," said Hoggan.

Mota is an established natural health products and eCommerce technology company focusing on the CBD and psychedelic medicine sectors. The company has a strong presence in both North America and Europe.
