Arizona Silver Exploration Inc (CVE:AZS) (OTCMKTS:AZASF) unveiled new results from metallurgical testing on its Philadelphia project in Arizona on Wednesday.
The Vancouver-based explorer said that the results ranged from 94.4% to 99.5% recovery from eight bulk samples, which were part of its recently completed reverse circulation drilling program on the property.
In a statement, Arizona Silver said the results demonstrate that 27% to 65.5% of the gold in the drill cuttings is coarse and is recoverable by gravity methods, confirming the observations of visible gold in cuttings during drilling.
Total recoveries by gravity and cyanidation are consistently in the 98% to 99% range, according to a statement.
“We are very pleased with these exceptional recoveries on Philadelphia and look forward to drilling the west side again,” the company told shareholders.
Arizona Silver said it plans to mobilize a core rig to the Philadelphia property after it has completed drilling its Ramsey property, an historic silver producer. The program will test the high-grade zone on the west side of the Philadelphia vein system previously encountered in RC and core drilling.
