Golden Arrow Resources is "well positioned to define and develop exceptional new deposits" in South America

Golden Arrow Resources Corp -

Golden Arrow Resources Corp (CVE:GRG) (OTCQB:GARWF) boasts three projects in South America and an enviable record in mining exploration.

The company has been involved with four major world-class discoveries previously in South America, which are either in production or about to be.

It acquires assets and advances them up the value-chain to pre-feasibility stage. The idea is to sell discoveries for cash or for cash and a 'carried participation' production royalty for the life of a mine.

Despite the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and its repercussions, the firm is active at two of its projects, notably the Rosales copper asset in Region III, Chile, which it acquired in July this year. The project lies next to claims hosting a currently operating small-scale underground Margarita mine.

Proactive recently caught up with Golden Arrow's vice-president Niko Cacos, who outlined some of the key points about this developing firm and its current activity.

PROACTIVE: Please can you give a brief description of how the company was formed?

NC: Golden Arrow Resources is a Vancouver-based explorer with a history of success in identifying, acquiring, and advancing precious and base metal discoveries.

Golden Arrow was formed to be the gold-focused exploration company and is a member of the Grosso Group, a resource-focused management group that pioneered the mineral exploration industry in Argentina and has operated there since 1993.

The Grosso Group, headed by Joseph Grosso, is credited with four exceptional mineral deposit discoveries and has a highly regarded track record for fostering strong relationships with communities and governments wherever it works. The Grosso Group leverages its vast network of local, regional, and international industry contacts to support the exploration team as they search for quality resource opportunities. Golden Arrow is currently working in three counties, Paraguay, Argentina and Chile and will have steady news from three projects the company is currently advancing.

PROACTIVE: What do you consider to be your greatest/main achievement(s) to date?

NC: Golden Arrow has three exceptional mineral deposit discoveries, of which two are in production and one is the worlds largest undeveloped silver deposit and is moving toward production. Most recently Golden Arrow advanced its Chinchillas Silver Project in Jujuy Province, Argentina, from discovery to development in just five years, and then successfully monetized the asset through a sale to SSR Mining.

Golden Arrow now benefits from a significant equity interest in SSR Mining, providing upside potential and leverage to gold and silver. The company is actively exploring in Chile and Paraguay as well as in Argentina. With a pipeline of more than 180,000 hectares of high-quality mineral projects at all stages of development, the company is well-positioned to define and develop exceptional new deposits.

Proactive: What are the likely catalysts for the stock over the next 12 months or so?

NC: Anyone of the three projects we are working has the potential to yield good results, positive news from any of the three would be a catalyst to see our market capitalization increase, we are currently trading below cash value, this is a catalyst in itself:

Terra Dorada gold project, Paraguay

The 500 metre shallow-hole diamond drilling program initiated in late August at the Alvaro target is proceeding, with approximately 13 holes (180 metres) completed as of September 8, 2020. The drilling is expected to continue until approximately the end of the month, with assay results of sampling to follow.

Flecha de Oro gold project, Argentina

The Flecha de Oro gold project in Rio Negro Province, Argentina, consists of three separate property packages, Puzzle (1,952 hectares), Esperanza (9,968 hectares) and Maquinchao (2,000 hectares) for a total tenure position covering 13,920 hectares in an area that is prospective for large epithermal precious metal deposits. To date the company has mainly focused on the Esperanza property, to define high-grade gold mineralized zones within the 16 kilometers of identified quartz and chalcedony veins that display banded, colloform and crustiform epithermal textures. COVID-19 is delaying drilling.

Rosales Copper project, Chile

The first detailed fieldwork is now underway at Golden Arrow’s recently staked Rosales Copper Project in Region III, Chile (Rosales) including a soil sampling and geological mapping program. Several hundred soil samples will be taken, as well as 1:5,000 scale mapping of the Margarita Trend and the NW targets.

Nick Cacos also included comments from the firm's vice-president (VP) exploration and development Brian McEwen, who said: "It’s very exciting to have boots on the ground for the first time at our new Rosales Project, particularly as we see the price of copper continuing its upward trend over the $3.00 mark.

"Golden Arrow remains primarily focused on precious metals, but this project was too good an opportunity to pass up, providing 100% ownership at a very low entry cost, with excellent exploration, and market, upside. We look forward to advancing this project, while our team continues to look throughout Chile for additional precious and base metal opportunities."
