Vuzix Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI) announced that SpringCity Energy has started using its Vuzix M400 Smart Glasses to perform onsite inspection and maintenance, including remote technical support and on-the-job training to service solar and renewable energy customers in Australia. The Rochester, New York-based company said that SpringCity Energy, an engineering company in the power and energy industry, has deployed its Vuzix M400 Smart Glasses to train junior technicians from the comfort of an office instead of peering over their shoulders. Vuzix said that with the Vuzix M400 Smart Glasses, engineering staff can now be trained remotely and provided hands-free setup and guidance for new equipment activations in the field. “SpringCity Energy technicians can now train multiple junior technicians each day, which has resulted in significant cost savings,” said the company.

BioLargo Inc (OTCQB:BLGO) subsidiary Clyra Medical Technologies has announced that Clyraguard, a personal disinfectant and germicidal spray that can safely and easily decontaminate masks and face coverings, is now available on Amazon.com just in time for Amazon Prime Day. In addition, BioLargo said that Clyra Medical is in a partnership with Powerplay Retail, an agency and distributor that has helped launch some of the best-known consumer products in the world, to roll-out Clyraguard to major retailers nationwide. Powerplay Retail brings to bear relationships with some of the world's biggest online and in-store retailers, including more than 80 of the largest, most recognizable retailers in the US.

Humanigen Inc (NASDAQ:HGEN) said that its potential coronavirus treatment lenzilumab has been selected for the ACTIV-5 “Big Effect Trial,” being run by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), to evaluate whether some promising investigational drugs should be advanced into larger clinical trials for battling COVID-19. NIAID, which is part of the US National Institutes of Health (NIH), will enroll at as many as 40 US sites and will evaluate lenzilumab with remdesivir, compared to placebo and remdesivir, in hospitalized COVID-19 patients with approximately 100 patients assigned to each study arm. Humanigen is providing lenzilumab for the study, which is fully funded by NIH. Burlingame, California-based Humanigen is focused on preventing and treating an immune hyper-response called ‘cytokine storm’ with its lead drug candidate lenzilumab.

YayYo Inc (OTCPINK:YAYO), through its wholly owned subsidiary Rideshare Car Rentals LLC, has entered into a joint project with Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Services USA (AIS) to better understand safety in Mobility as a Service (MaaS) fleets. In a statement Tuesday, YayYo said AIS will deploy advanced artificial intelligence (AI) dashcams in 300 vehicles of the Rideshare Rental carsharing fleet for use with MOTER, AIS’s edge computing-based risk analytics platform. The cameras will capture dynamic data to monitor how, where, and when the vehicles are being driven along with high-definition video of the surroundings.

Newrange Gold Corp (CVE:NRG) (OTCMKTS:NRGOF) shares surged on Tuesday as the explorer posted highly encouraging drilling assays from its flagship Pamlico project in Nevada, which showed near surface oxide gold mineralization. One hole in the Merritt Zone at the property hit 14.85 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 3.57 g/t silver over an 9.15 meter interval from a depth of 53.35 to 62.50 meters (m). This zone contained a high-grade core, which returned 34.11 g/t of the yellow metal and 7.64 g/t silver, which was found in a larger 32.01 meter interval assaying 4.74 g/t gold and 2.25 g/t silver from a depth of 44.21 to 76.22m.

American Battery Metals Corporation (OTCQB:ABML), which is in the process of changing its name to American Battery Technology Company, announced Tuesday the close of a $1,250,000 equity investment from impact investment firm Just Business. Led by partners David Batstone, Mark Wexler, and William Riggs, San Francisco-based Just Business is committed to building profitable companies that positively impact the world, American Battery said. Just Business is focusing its most recent fund, the People|Planet Fund, on technology platforms that will support the clean energy transition and provide the building blocks to power the future -- from electric vehicles and grid storage applications to consumer electronics and power tools.

Todos Medical Ltd (OTCQB:TOMDF) revealed that it has existing contracts that have the potential to deliver over $60 million in revenue by the end of the second-quarter of 2021. Headquartered in Rehovot, Israel, Todos Medical develops diagnostic solutions to screen for cancers and neurodegenerative disorders, but it has pivoted to the coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR testing space and won a string of high-value contracts. The company said it received first payments from a $47.5 million contract with a Wisconsin-based client on October 9. For its third quarter ended September 30, 2020, Todos posted $2 million in revenue from sales of ANDis 350 automated extraction machines, related extraction reagent kits, and deposits for reagent supply agreements.

TruTrace Technologies Inc (CSE:TTT) (OTC:TTTSF) released fiscal 2020 results Tuesday revealing revenue boost and a narrowing loss for the cannabis blockchain infrastructure company. For the 12 months ended April 30, the company brought in revenue of C$402,679, a major increase year-over-year from C$10,000 in fiscal 2019. Its comprehensive loss over the same period was C$4.6 million, down significantly from C$14.8 million in fiscal 2019.

GlobeX Data Ltd (OTCQB:SWISF) (CSE:SWIS), the cybersecurity and Internet privacy specialist, has unveiled a landmark deal which will see Mexico's largest mobile telecoms operator integrate the company's encrypted messaging solution into its offering. GlobeX Data's SekurMessenger will be available for immediate sale in Mexico with full integration expected to be complete in November this year. Telcel is the mobile division of América Móvil, which is the seventh-largest telecom operator in the world with over 277 million mobile subscribers in over 20 countries.

Telson Mining Corp (CVE:TSN) (OTCMKTS:SOHFF) named finance industry veteran Ruben Alvidrez Ortega, who is from the prominent Alvidrez mining family, a director as the mine developer advances its flagship Tahuehueto gold mine project in Mexico. Since 1994, Alvidrez Ortega has worked in several leadership roles with Citigroup, which has around 33,000 employees in Mexico. He has worked with corporate clients in the US and Mexico and spearheaded teams with over 200 people. He is educated as an industrial engineer and has a MBA from Notre Dame University. Telson CEO Ralph Shearing said: "On behalf of Telson's Board of Directors, I am incredibly pleased to welcome Mr Ruben Alvidrez Ortega to the company's board. Ruben is a member of the prominent Alvidrez Mexican mining family with members holding current and past senior executive positions within Fresnillo and Penoles.”

Orogen Royalties Inc (CVE:OGN) told investors on Tuesday that it has optioned out its TREK-31 gold asset in British Columbia to Pacific Imperial Mines Inc (TSE:PPM), which will advance the project. TREK 31 lies in the Nechako Plateau and is a gold-in-till anomaly situated 30 kilometres (km) northeast of Artemis Gold's Blackwater gold-silver deposit. It covers 'Target 31' which was identified by a C$4million exploration program undertaken by Geoscience BC, which identified a strong, continuous area of anomalism.

Milestone Scientific Inc (NYSEAMERICAN:MLSS) announced Tuesday that it has been awarded a group purchasing agreement for its CompuFlo Epidural System and CathCheck with healthcare company Premier. The new agreement allows Premier members to take advantage of special pricing and pre-negotiated terms pre-negotiated for CompuFlo and CathCheck, the company said, effective November 1. Premier has a network of roughly 4,100 US hospitals and 200,000 other providers. 

Fidelity Minerals Corp (CVE:FMN) announced Tuesday revised payment terms in relation to the sale of its Cerro Dorado gold plant in Peru.  The company noted that to further the US$1.43 million sale agreement announced on October 1, 2019, total payments made by the purchaser have totaled US$500,000, meeting the conditions of the sale through to March 2020. As a result of COVID-19 related regulatory delays and disruptions, Fidelity Minerals said it has been working with the purchaser to negotiate amended payment terms for the remaining US$930,000. 

Pacton Gold Inc (CVE:PAC) (OTCPINK:PACXF) is selling certain projects in its Australia portfolio but retaining the key Egina asset, it said Tuesday, as the firm revealed it was selling 75% of the Arrow, Yandicoogina and Boodalyerrie gold properties in the Pilbara. It has struck a binding letter of intent (LOI) with Pilbara Gold Corp Ltd (PGC), which in turn is being bought by Aussie-listed Raiden Resources Limited (ASX:RDN). Under the terms, C$500,000 will be paid to Pacton along with the issue of over 129.7 million shares in Raiden (value at around C$2.6 million). A further C$500,000 will be paid to Pacton on the first anniversary after completion. Pacton will retain a 25% carried interest in the assets until there is the delineation of a JORC mineral resource (or another globally recognized code) of at least 250,000 ounced of gold at a minimum grade of 1 gram per ton g/t across any of the properties.

Nano One Materials Corp (CVE:NNO) (OTCPINK:NOMF) (FRA:LBMB) revealed Tuesday that it has successfully created a high voltage lithium-ion battery cell with a significant cycle life - a moment the firm described as an "exceptional" breakthrough. The demonstration battery employed cobalt-free Lithium Nickel Manganese (LNM) cathode active material, which was made using the firm's proprietary One-Pot process. The tech group has come up with patented technology to produce, at low cost, lithium-ion battery cathode materials, which are vital in electric vehicles (EVs) and other energy storage applications.

Esports Entertainment Group Inc (NASDAQ:GMBL) (FRA:40Y1), an online gaming company, has reached a deal to become the official esports tournament provider for the LA Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL) and LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer (MLS).  Under the terms of the deal, done through AEG Global Partnerships, the company will act as the exclusive host of branded esports tournaments for the Kings and Galaxy on its Esports Gaming League (EGL) platform.

Algernon Pharmaceuticals Inc (CSE:AGN) (OTCB:BTHCF) (FRA:AGW) announced that it has reached 25% of its enrollment target for its Phase 2 idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and chronic cough clinical study of its re-purposed drug NP-120 (Ifenprodil). “I am very pleased to report that we have reached 25% enrollment in the study,” said CEO Christopher J. Moreau in a statement. “While our COVID-19 clinical trial program has received a great deal of attention, IPF and chronic cough are very serious conditions as well, and our team is working hard to make sure our clinical program of investigating Ifenprodil as a possible treatment continues to move forward on schedule.”

NexTech AR Solutions Corp (OTCQB:NEXCF) (CSE:NTAR) (FRA:N29) is jumping into the rap game, the company announced Tuesday, with plans to host a virtual meet-and-greet with the Grammy-nominated artist Offset, a member of the group Migos. The event, done in collaboration with the AXR+EXP concert series, will be hosted on the company’s recently acquired AiRShow app on October 16. Offset and the other performers at the event will appear as human holograms, created by Nextech’s AR technology, that move around in fans’ real-world space through their mobile device.

Melkior Resources Inc (CVE:MKR)(OTCMKTS:MKRIF) (FRA:MEK1) said it will begin an induced polarization (IP) geophysical survey at the so-called Target 4 at its Val-d'Or property in Quebec, ahead of a potential drill program to commence later this year. Soil surveying at the asset defined four main targets and following the IP results, a prospecting program will further interpret the area. "We look forward to reviewing the results of our IP survey at Val d'Or," said Jonathon Deluce, CEO of Melkior in a statement. "This moves the company one step closer to narrowing in our drill targets for the winter 2020 program.

CytoDyn Inc (OTCQB:CYDY), which is developing its flagship drug leronlimab (PRO 140) to battle multiple diseases, said on Tuesday that it has appointed Chiral Pharma, a subsidiary of Philippine New Marketlink Pharmaceutical Corporation (NMPC), to register leronlimab for potential approval from the health regulator in the Philippines to treat coronavirus (COVID-19) patients.  In a statement, CytoDyn CEO Nader Pourhassan said the company was committed to “making leronlimab available in the Philippines.” CytoDyn completed its Phase 2 trial to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of leronlimab in patients with mild-to-moderate COVID-19 in July this year. Patients receiving leronlimab experienced 64% fewer serious adverse events (SAEs) during the trial than patients receiving placebo.

Black Iron Inc (TSE:BKI) (OTCMKTS:BKIRF) (FRA:BIN) updated Tuesday on its efforts to advance its giant Shymanivske iron ore project in Ukraine, revealing that a second 'Heads of Agreement' had been inked with a construction firm, which includes an investment of around US$60 million. The resource group noted though that only one of its current two construction companies will be selected to build the project, but by having this company make a material investment, its interests become fully aligned with existing investors to achieve it on time and on budget.

WeedMD Inc (CVE:WMD) (OTCQX:WDDMF) (FRA:4WE) said has entered into a supply agreement with Pax Labs Inc, a leader in premium cannabis vaporizer technology, with award-winning devices for both oil concentrates and flower. Under the deal, the medical-grade cannabis producer and distributor said it will become a brand partner and supplier for the PAX ERA Collection in Canada, which includes the closed-loop PAX ERA and ERA PRO devices.

Loop Insights Inc (CVE:MTRX) (OCTMKTS:RACMF), a provider of contact tracing, contactless solutions, and artificial intelligence-driven automated marketing, said that it has signed a referral agreement with retail industry guru Steve Gray’s UK-based SG-retail to expand Loop's services and products into the UK and Europe. The Vancouver, British Columbia-based advanced technology company has gained traction in the US by signing a slew of deals, and Gray will tap the momentum to roll Loop’s products and services into the €3.55 trillion European market. Loop will now be on SG-retail's coveted technology partner list and the firm will introduce and resell Loop's services to clients that include Virgin Megastores, Tesco, Kroger, Sephora, Sainsbury, Morrisons, and Boots.

Fury Gold Mines Ltd. (TSX:FURY) (NYSEAMERICAN:FURY) started trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, a day after they commenced trading on the NYSE American due to the Canadian Thanksgiving. The company has made its debut after completion of the previously announced transaction resulting in Auryn Resources Inc. acquiring Eastmain Resources Inc. and forming Fury Gold. Prior to the merger, Auryn spun out its Peruvian assets into two new companies and distributed the shares to Auryn shareholders. Fury Gold has also now received the net proceeds of the previously completed $23 million subscription receipt financing, which was conditional on the completion of the Fury Gold transaction.
