Nextech AR Solutions rebrands itself as a full Metaverse company
All of its augmented reality products will henceforth use the “Aritize” naming convention

Nextech AR Solutions Corp revealed its next iteration as a full Metaverse company.

The Vancouver-based augmented reality firm said in a statement that it is rebranding as “Nextech AR Solutions, a Metaverse company,” and all of its AR products will henceforth use the “Aritize” naming convention.

Nextech told investors that the rebranding is to better align itself with major companies like Facebook (Meta), Epic Games, Microsoft, and Unity, that have all made significant moves into the rapidly-growing Metaverse space.

“Nextech is in a very significant period of growth and transition and we are excited to bring ARitize forward as our new brand name that we believe will be widely used by everyone when describing 2D-3D asset conversion and ultimately everything 3D,” Nextech CEO Evan Gappelberg said.

“We are perfectly positioned to capitalize on the Metervese economy as one of the few end-to-end Metaverse solutions. ARitize Metaverse Studios is the one platform that allows our customers to not only create a mini-metaverse but also populate the Metaverse with product holograms and human holograms.”

The ARitize Metaverse Studio brings Nextech’s solutions together into one web-based studio where customers can access their 3D assets, compose AR experiences, and publish them into the Metaverse in any format. They can manage 3D/AR content and point cloud maps, which are used for localization.

The studio also gives users the ability to update these point cloud maps and 3D/AR content in their application in real-time.

Nextech develops and operates AR platforms, transporting three-dimensional product visualizations, human holograms and 360-degree portals to its audiences altering e-commerce, digital advertising, hybrid virtual events and learning and training experiences.
