Softcat raises full year-profit expectations

Softcat (LSE:SCT) PLC said it continued to “perform well” during its third quarter and expects full-year operating profit will be slightly ahead of previous expectations.

According to a statement, the provider of IT infrastructure and technology services delivered double-digit year-on-year growth in revenue, gross profit and operating profit for the three months ending 30 April 2022.

The London-listed company said it experienced growth across all its technology segments, “reflecting strong and stable customer demand”, although it did caution that the supply chain issues remain challenging.

Shares were up 4.96% to 1,414p in morning trading.
